Zatoka village (Odessa region) is small, but cozy, well-groomed, with well-developed infrastructure. The status of “urban-type settlement” was granted to him a long time ago. And rightly so. The location of the village is Belgorod-Dniester district, between the Black Sea and the Dniester estuary. From Karolino-Bugaz in the direction of Sergeevka a long spit extends into the sea, on which the village of Zatoka was laid in 1827. Odessa region, of course, did not exist then. And the village itself arose as a result of the opening of the lighthouse on the coast and the consolidation of a crew of sailors for maintenance. Subsequently, the place settled down by people, was upset, communications appeared. Next came the modern administrative division. And now Zatoka is Odessa region, and not the Tsargradsko-Dniester district, as it was almost 2 centuries ago. The coast itself - with clean fine-grained sand, whose width is almost 50 meters and a length of 5 km, has turned into excellent beaches and attracts thousands of holidaymakers. Therefore, in season, the population of the village, quite small, almost tripled.

Zatoka resort (Odessa region) is famous, first of all, for the Central region (Bugaz). This place in the village is the most popular among holidaymakers and local youth. It is, as it were, a continuation of the district, located in the narrowest part of Zatoka. Friendship is less well-maintained than other parts of Zatoka, but the beaches here are the cleanest.
