The latter not only updated the interior of the rooms, but also significantly expanded the infrastructure, making the stay here even more pleasant and comfortable.
Location
Sveltos Hotel is located on the outskirts of the Cypriot city of Larnaca, just less than 6 km from its central part. It is only 45 km from the capital of the island, the city of Nicosia, 41 km from the largest resort of Ayia Napa, and about 51 km from another interesting tourist site - the city of Protaras. This location is convenient for those guests who plan on vacation to travel around the island.
Regarding entertainment centers, the Sveltos Hotel is a bit far away. They will have to be approached by city buses. But very close to the hotel there is a police station. The sea is also almost nearby, although Sveltos is not located on the first coastline. In a straight line from it to the coast exactly 387 meters. On the way to the beach you need to cross two roads, but, according to most tourists, this is not annoying.
How to get there
The nearest airport is just 10.2 km from the hotel. Therefore, it is not difficult to get to the Sveltos Hotel. Almost all tour operators offer tours here with air travel included in the price. From Larnaca Airport, a shuttle is delivered to the hotel guests in just 20 minutes. Its cost in one direction for different tour operators may vary, but on average is 1200 rubles per person.
Description
Sveltos Hotel 3 * (Larnaca) is located near the road. Its territory is quite compact, but it has two swimming pools, a bar, a tennis court, volleyball and other sports grounds. There is even a small garden with palm trees, bougainvillea and limes, and ripe fruit is not forbidden to pick guests. There is ample parking in front of the entrance. The reception is located in a large lobby decorated in blue and white and decorated with a fireplace. Its staff speaks good Russian, so Russian tourists do not have problems solving current issues. At the reception you can put things in storage, put valuables in the safe, call a taxi or doctor, buy excursions, hand over clothes for washing, rent a bicycle or car, exchange money.
On the ground floor of the hotel there is an elevator, and near the reception a game room is equipped, there is a small shop with souvenirs and goods for a beach holiday, as well as an ironing room where each guest can put their clothes in order.
The hotel is perfect for both leisure and work. For business meetings, a modern conference room for 45 people is equipped with the necessary equipment for work.

Sveltos Hotel is classified by size as medium. There are only 45 rooms with balconies to accommodate tourists. Their windows overlook the pool and cafe (then the guests who stop there may be disturbed by the noise of evening fun) or the road and the surrounding area (then some guests complain about the noise from cars passing by day and night).

Nutrition
At Sveltos Hotel you can buy tours in three systems: HB (price includes breakfast and dinner), AL (full board, valid from 10 am to 11 pm) and BB (breakfast only). Many tourists consider the latter system of food most convenient, since there are dozens of cafes and taverns in the city that can be selected by location (for example, on the seashore), according to the dishes offered there and at prices.
At Sveltos, the food, according to tourists, is tasty and varied. The breakfast menu is about this: milk, granola, two or three types of cereals, milk, dairy products, fried and boiled eggs, sausages, cheeses, sausages, vegetables, salads, fruits, jams. For lunch, there is always a couple of types of mashed soups, sometimes borscht or cabbage soup, fish, chicken, meat, salads, fruits, and vegetable dishes.
Drinks and light snacks can be taken in the lobby or by the pool. This is a wonderful place with a large terrace where you can sit in the evening sincerely, savoring your favorite drink and admiring the Cypriot nature.
Hotel for children
At Sveltos Hotel it is great to relax with the kids. For them there is a separate pool with a shallow depth, a colorful playground, a games room decorated with characters from fairy tales. Parents can order cots in rooms. For children under 2 years of age, no fee will be charged.
There is no special children's menu in the hotel restaurant, but you can choose what you need from the available dishes. If tourists came to rest with a very young child, he can buy baby food in supermarkets in the city of Larnaca.
Leisure at the hotel
Until the last renovation, the Sveltos Hotel was mainly suitable only for a measured quiet rest of people aged and couples with children. Cyprus, being a popular resort, attracts many young people. Therefore, to expand its clientele and diversify leisure, after the latest innovation, a brand new tennis court, an excellent volleyball court, a place for playing darts, and a fitness room were built at the hotel. On the territory there is a large pool, around which there are enough sun loungers and umbrellas. The building has a games room with pool tables and slot machines.
For wellness and relaxation, all guests are invited to visit the sauna, massage room, and wellness center.
No animation is provided at Sveltos. The only show here is Cypriot Days, held outdoors every Thursday. Then a barbecue and a small concert program are organized.
Sea
It is no secret that many travel to the Mediterranean for the sake of the warm sea and the bright but gentle sun. All this can be fully received by guests of Sveltos Hotel 3 *. Cyprus - Larnaca, Protaras, Paphos, Pomos - in other words, absolutely all resorts in the country are proud of their beaches and clear sea. The beach closest to the Sveltos is covered with fine and very smooth pebbles, and there is a sandy beach 100 meters away. On both, the entrance to the sea is very gradual, and the depth begins 20-30 meters from the water's edge, and only sand under the feet is in the sea. Sunbeds and umbrellas on these beaches cost 2.5 euros per day, there are few people, but there is almost no entertainment, but there is a good bar where you can have a drink and a snack. Some guests on buses or on rented cars go to other beaches of Cyprus. One of them is located in the center of Larnaca and is called Finikoudes. There is plenty of entertainment here, and nearby on the promenade there are lots of taverns and shops. But the beach itself and the water in the sea are not as clean as we would like. The second beach is called Mackenzie, and it is located near the airport. Its advantages are pure volcanic sand, clear water, a wide strip of shallows, which is good for young children. Its disadvantages are undeveloped infrastructure, insufficient quality sand cleaning by beach workers, noise from the airport. In addition to these two most popular beaches, guests of Sveltos Hotel, who love to discover something new, can go to any other corner of the island's coast, of which there are several dozen.

Sveltos Hotel is located somewhat away from entertainment and shopping centers, therefore it is most suitable for those tourists who prefer a measured beach holiday, especially for families with children. Also, this hotel will be comfortable for those tourists who like walking on foot and do not see a problem in frequent trips by public transport or have the opportunity to rent a car.
Sveltos Hotel accepts guests with children of all ages and does not accept pets.
Tourists who have some health problems are provided with special rooms of a larger area and with additional handrails in the hygiene rooms.
