Saints Konstantin and Elena are the oldest seaside resort in Bulgaria. It is located next to a huge national park, so the air here is much cleaner than in other parts of the country. It is suitable for a quiet and leisurely pastime, so families with young children and elderly tourists often come here. Most of the hotels here offer budget holidays at low prices. Where is the hotel located?
This small three-star hotel is located on the first beach line of the resort of Saints Constantine and Elena. Distance to the sea is only 40 meters. The hotel does not have its own stretch of coastline, so tourists usually visit a public sandy beach. The only downside is the lack of free sun loungers and sun umbrellas. They must be paid for before each visit to the beach. Along the coast there is a pier, a small night club, a balneological wellness center and several public pools filled with fresh or mineral water. Also nearby is the souvenir market, where tourists can buy not only products with national Bulgarian symbols, but also famous cosmetics with the addition of rose oil. Its three-story building is located in the shadow of a huge park. On the green lawn there is an outdoor pool with an area where guests can enjoy a lot of sunbathing. Full update of all rooms of the complex took place in 2011. In total, the hotel has 98 apartments that are designed for small families. Children are provided with a small cot for free. The restaurant also provides them with high chairs, as well as a special children's menu.
As in other hotels in Bulgaria, check-in at the Chayka 3 * complex (St. Konstantin and Elena, Bulgaria) starts at 14:00. Tourists who arrived earlier than this time can leave their belongings in a storage room and go to the pool or the beach. The hotel staff speaks a little Russian, but understands English or Bulgarian best. Pets are not allowed here. Guests must leave their apartments before 12:00. If the hotel has free rooms, you can always extend your stay for several days or hours.

As mentioned above, the complex has 98 rooms. They are fully consistent with the declared class of the hotel, so it is unlikely to surprise you with new furniture or luxurious furnishings. It is quite old, with a large kinescope, but it broadcasts several satellite channels ("First", "Russia"). You can use the telephone to contact the hotel staff. It can also be used to call home, but such calls will have to be paid separately. For storing food, fruits, vegetables and drinks in the room is a small refrigerator.
A hairdryer, iron and ironing board are available at the reception. However, after use, they must be returned back. In the bathroom for guests, several towels are prepared for the body and face, toilet paper, but there is no set of cosmetics. Internet in the room is connected only at an additional cost.

For guests here are several food options. Guests who prefer to spend time outside the complex can pay for breakfast or half board, which also includes dinner. Also, the Chaika hotel ("Seagull" 3 *, St. Konstantin and Elena) offers a lightweight all-inclusive concept. It includes all the main meals, as well as a light bite of cookies with hot drinks between lunch and dinner. The price also includes alcoholic drinks produced in Bulgaria. Tourists can try draft beer, homemade wines, aniseed vodka. Mineral and sparkling water, concentrated juices, tea, coffee and cream are also offered.
All drinks are served in the bar between the pools until 22:00. You can buy them later than this time only for an additional fee. Meals are served at the Seagull Restaurant. All meals are served at the buffet. The menu consists of local and international dishes. Once a week there is also a theme evening dedicated to cooking fish and seafood dishes. The bar also offers paid imported alcohol and freshly squeezed juices.

- Car parking. Tourists who come to the hotel by their own car can leave it here for free at any time.
- 2 pools: adult and children's. There is also a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.

- The plumbing in the room is quite old, so it would be nice to replace it. The water in the shower leaves poorly, and the water is served warm rather than hot.
- Breakfast is not varied. The same set of dishes is served daily. From fruits, there are only apples, oranges, bananas and plums.
- Free internet almost never works. It’s impossible to even open the page on social networks.
- Very cramped rooms with a small corridor and bath.
