Nessebar
The town of Nessebar is located on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, on a peninsula, 30 km from the large city of Burgas.
The distance to the world famous resort Sunny Beach is about 3 km. Nessebar is considered one of the most ancient cities in Europe. In 1956, it received the status of a museum city, and since 1983 it has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Fund. The population of the city does not exceed 10,000 inhabitants, it occupies a small area, but, despite this, it is rich in attractions and can offer tourists an interesting excursion program. In the city there are ruins of fortresses and temples, wooden buildings of the times of the XIX century, numerous architectural monuments. Nessebar is divided into New and Old Towns: in New there are most modern buildings and hotels, and Old is located on a separate small peninsula, which is separated by a narrow strait. The old city allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages - wooden buildings and museums attract researchers of antiquity. The city has a port where many ships from Europe constantly arrive. Part of Old Nessebar went under water during the flood, in good weather, sunken monuments can be seen while walking on a boat. All 40 temples in the city survived - and this is considered to be a miracle.
Climate
The climate in the vicinity of the resort town is temperate, Mediterranean. The swimming season opens in May and ends in October, the air temperature in the summer reaches 30 degrees, the water warms up to 26 degrees.
Waterpark "Paradise" (Nessebar)
The resort town of Nessebar offers guests many different attractions and interesting places that are definitely worth a visit - the excursion program includes architectural and historical monuments, cultural institutions and natural beauties. One of the most striking attractions is considered a water park (Nessebar). It is recognized as the largest and most modern amusement park in the entire Balkan Peninsula. The territory of the park reaches 46,000 square meters.
In total, there are about 40 attractions in the Paradise water park, the total length of all water slides reaches 1,500 meters. The territory of the park is a huge field of entertainment, surrounded by greenery. Here, any visitor, from children to the elderly, will find entertainment to their taste. The water park (Nessebar) is built in the form of a castle, this introduces an element of the game into the visit and adds entertainment. Traveling around the castle, you can climb one of the many stairs and get on the
water slides. It is easy to get to the park - with an interval of 15 minutes there is a free bus from the hotels of the Sunny Beach resort and from the center of Nessebar. The water park (photos are presented below) looks rather unusual, its original buildings attract attention and fit perfectly into the surrounding landscape.
Rides
The water park offers visitors a wide selection of attractions. One of the newest ones opened in 2013 is the Spiral and Rafting slides. The speed with which you can go down them reaches 9 m / s. For young children in the park there is a Children's Castle, in which fairy-tale heroes play with children, a kindergarten and a playground for games are provided.
The puppet show will bring a lot of fun to young visitors to the park. For those who love the thrill, the Kamikaze water slide has been created - the descent runs from a height of 22 meters. The Black Hole is a covered slide 100 meters long. There are a lot of water slides in the park, each of them has unique advantages. Any visitor will surely find for himself some kind of favorite entertainment. For those who prefer a relaxing holiday, a trip along the Lazy River is perfect, where you can enjoy the natural scenery and magnificent views. There is a special rock for climbing. Some pools are equipped with diving boards from which you can jump down.
Holiday islands
Near the center there are special islands where you can relax from water races and relax a bit. "Paradise island" is an island with water pools.
Here you can order a massage - underwater or using a jet of water, use the jacuzzi. The second island is called the "Pearl of Orient" - here visitors are invited to plunge into the eastern atmosphere. The Butterfly pool is popular - it has a bar, an amphitheater and a stage. Entertainment animator shows are held in the afternoon. Visitors can visit a dance school, water aerobics, beauty salons and even get tattoos.
Nutrition
Waterpark (Nessebar) offers visitors several catering points. On hot days, you can visit the pool bar, there is a fast food cafe, there is a children's cocktail bar "Mickey Mouse".
For lovers of sweets, the Ice Cream House operates on the territory - a variety of varieties of cold treats are presented here. The islands have Oriental and Mediterranean bars.

All visitors to the park unanimously claim that this is exactly the place that you should definitely visit while relaxing in Bulgaria. A lot of entertainment, shops, cafes, massages, pools and rivers do not leave anyone indifferent. Visitors call the successful organization a big plus - despite the impressive capacity, there are practically no queues. Visitors do not interfere with each other, do not crowd and do not get bored. Animation deserves special praise - children's and adult entertainment programs attract a lot of spectators, organized contests and games attract many participants.
Prices
Waterpark "Paradise" (Nessebar) accepts payment for visits by tourists, depending on the growth of guests and their age. Children under 90 cm are free. A separate safe and locker are available. The price of the ticket depends on the time of the visit - for a full day an adult visitor costs about 38 leva, you can buy a ticket for half a day - from 15.00, but you need to keep in mind that in the afternoon the number of visitors increases sharply, and queues may appear for some attractions , as one of the most visited places by tourists is recognized as a water park in Nessebar. Prices for visits are quite flexible, families with children are given discounts. Each visitor at the entrance receives a deck chair, an umbrella and a rubber raft for descent. At the entrance, each visitor wears a bracelet that can be used to pay for additional services.

Working hours
The water park in Nessebar (Bulgaria) at the beginning and at the end of the season is open from 10.00 to 18.00, at the height of the tourist season - until 18.30. It should be borne in mind that the park is an accumulation of fairly high structures, and in bad weather, for safety reasons, it is closed - in whole or in part. However, money for pre-purchased tickets is not refunded.
