In Belarus there are no high mountains, however, thanks to enthusiasts and entrepreneurs, in 2004-2005 wonderful ski resorts “Logoisk” and “Silichi” were created in the country. They are not world-class, and eminent athletes do not come here. But the ski resorts of Belarus are available for Belarusians and guests from neighboring countries who appreciate the climate in the resort, a small difference in the heights of the hills and the relatively low cost of the pleasure of relaxing and skiing.
The Belarusian winter ski season begins in early December and lasts until mid-March. But it all depends on the weather. If spring is cold and frosty, the season is extended. At the ski resorts of Belarus, modern equipment and snow cannons work, which maintains the tracks in good condition.
Ski resort "Logoisk"
Locals call this resort "Belarusian Switzerland." Talented designers, taking into account the natural reliefs of the area and using modern technologies, created a European complex with developed infrastructure. In the resort town there are hotels and guest cottages, a wonderful restaurant "Gascinny Mayentak", which serves dishes of both national and European cuisine. The prices are moderate.
But the main thing in the ski resorts of Belarus is the slopes. And in “Logoisk” there are seven of them. There is a "red" descent, more difficult, and two "green" - for beginners. There is also a special slope, where you can learn to ride under the guidance of a coach. The cost of an individual lesson with an instructor will cost 800 rubles per hour. The tow-lift lifts to the training descent.
On the basis of the ski resort "Logoisk" (Belarus) there is a rental of equipment: ski sets (adults and children), sets of snowboarders, boots for them, poles. Equipment prices are indicated in the price lists of the center.
Silichi
The popularity of the Silichi ski resort in Belarus is growing every year. It is located in the Logoisk district literally a few kilometers from the equally popular Logoisk. The resort has a hotel complex and guest houses. There is free parking for 800 cars.
Seven tracks of varying difficulty and length are at the disposal of winter sports enthusiasts. In this ski resort of Belarus, the slopes were built taking into account the landscape, consisting of hills and lowlands. Trails work during the day and in the evening, when the lighting is on. Two of them are for beginners and children, two are simple, four are of medium complexity and one is complex. All work lifts. Their cost ranges from 400 to 700 rubles. The rental base has all the equipment needed to ride on the slopes.
How to get to the resorts "Logoisk" and "Silichi"
Both ski resorts are located in the Logoisk region, 30-35 km from Minsk. That is, you can get from Minsk by regular regular bus. In the direction of Logoisk there is a shuttle bus and a shuttle bus every 40 minutes every hour. Similarly, bus routes run to Silichi.
If you drive from Minsk by car, the route Minsk - Vitebsk leads to Logoisk. To "Silichi" - from the Minsk ring road along the Logoysky highway. Before reaching four kilometers to Logoisk, turn right, and there follow the sign for Silichi.
Both resorts are good. Who comes to learn to ride - learn, do not waste time. Instructors will help you. But in a couple of days you will feel how great it is to ride on the snowy slopes.
