Several rivers flow near the city, the largest are Samara and its tributary Buzuluk, in whose honor the city itself was named. Its history began with the laying of the Buzulutskaya fortress on the Samara River in 1736. In the sixties of the last century, the development of oil fields began in these places. Orsk
Orsk is a large city in the Orenburg region of Russia, the second largest in the region in terms of population (approximately 230,000 people). The Ural River flows through it . Not far from Orsk is another city - Novotroitsk. They are very close to each other and actually have a common border. Cities of the Orenburg region are closely related.
Orsk was founded as a fortress on the banks of the Ural River in 1735. Now Orsk is a large industrial city. Here, non-ferrous metallurgy, mechanical engineering and mining are developed. The city has an oil technical school, a medical college and some other vocational education institutions, as well as branches of some universities.

The Russian settlement, whose population is about fifteen thousand people, is the city of Yasny. The Orenburg region “received” it in 1961. The reason for the founding of the city was the discovery of asbestos deposits in this region, as well as the construction of a mining and processing enterprise. Near Yasny is the cosmodrome of the same name. The fauna and flora of this area are priceless.
