Lakes of Kiev
Quite large lakes near Kiev are located on the left bank of the Dnieper. Among them are such as Tyagle, Martyshev, Nebrizh and Redkino. The length of these reservoirs is approximately one and a half kilometers. Their main difference is impeccably clean water. The uniqueness of the lakes also lies in the fact that there are many representatives of the fauna. The water is very clear, which allows you to see floating fish there. In the village of Podgortsy, which is located near the city of Kiev, there is a lake, which the people called Blue. This name it got quite fairly, because the water in it is actually almost transparent in color. In the depths of the lake near Kiev reach up to 8 meters. The magnificent sandy shore is not equipped with equipment for recreation, it can be called "wild", but from this the surroundings of the lake become even more beautiful and picturesque.
Meadow lake
Lake Meadow stands out among all the special beauty. Its shores impress with the nobility of pine and oak trees growing here. This is the smallest lake from the Guardian system located in Obolon. Located between the streets of Bogatyrskaya and Lugovoi, from the industrial zone.
Central lake
It is impossible to ignore the White, or Central, lake in the center of Obolon. It is quite deep and large, it can even be seen from the nearest houses. It is interesting that the lake has both a sandy beach and a zone covered with vegetation. It is located in the quarter center, between the streets of Marshal Tymoshenko and Heroes of the Dnieper.
Obolon in the southwest is surrounded by a string of ponds that form a system of lakes called the Guardian. In ancient times, it was in this place that the Pochayna flowed. Before the construction of the quarter, land was taken here for construction. As a result, the river turned into a lake. In the water area there are green spaces surrounded by footpaths. Blue lake
In the southern outskirts of Pushcha Voditsa there is a closed lake Sinee. Of all the watersheds in Kiev, it is the largest. Located between the river valleys of the Dnieper and Irpeni on a flat plain. Its length is about 700 meters, width - about 200, area - 15 hectares. It is saturated with groundwater, as well as precipitation. This lake is inhabited by such fish as perch, pike, roach, crucian carp, verkhovka, plucking, rudd.
Diamond lake
Diamond (or Forest) is an artificial lake in the Desnyanskiy district of the city, located between Pukhovskaya Street, Forest Cemetery and TPP-6. A pond is one of the largest in the city in terms of water surface area and volume. In some places, the lake reaches a depth of about 35 meters. It arose in the first half of the 1980s on the site of a small peat bog, in connection with the alluvial sand for the housing estate Vygurovshchina-Troyeshchina.
Like other blue lakes near Kiev, this is flowing. In the north, a forest stream flows into it, and in the west it is connected to a group of Vygurovsky ponds. Aquatic vegetation is represented mainly by common reeds, narrow-leaved cattails and broad-leaved cattails. There are approximately 10 species of fish in the lake. Not far from the water is a pine forest.
Sunny lake
The sunny lake is located between Dragomanova, Zdolbunovskaya and Revutsky streets. Some blue lakes near Kiev (photo is in the article), like the Solar Pond, are artificial quarries created during the construction of the housing estate. On the shores of the lake is equipped with a recreation area, beach.
Vyrlitsa
Vyrlitsa is a lake in the Darnytskyi district of the city, located near the Collector Street and Bazhan Ave. In 2005, the Vyrlitsa metro station was opened next to it.
