The most important thing is to know how to make an egg out of paper. And this is exactly what the quilling technique will help us with.
The first thing we need for crafts is a blank in the form of an egg. You can use an ordinary shell or make a base using the papier-mache technique - the choice is yours. The most important thing is that the workpiece is thoroughly dried, because the glue does not fit well on a damp surface. In addition to the blank, we will need paper in several colors: yellow, white, pink, light green and dark green; awl; PVA glue and a small ruler.
So, how to make an egg out of paper for Easter?
For those who are not familiar with the papier-mâché technique, we tell. It is necessary to take the usual shell inside peeled. Pour warm water mixed with PVA glue into a small bowl and drop the newspaper cut into squares there. When it gets wet enough, pull it out and glue it on the eggshell in several layers. The billet should dry overnight, after which it is possible to break and pull out the inner shell with a needle, leaving only the paper base.
The next step in making an egg out of paper is the manufacture of jewelry. To do this, come up with a pattern and cut colored paper into thin strips. You can come up with a drawing consisting of the sun, grass and flowers, because it is very easy to reproduce.
Twist the cut strips with an awl. This must be done for a long time so that the paper does not unfold on the egg. It is worth remembering that the ribbons were twisted in different ways, that is, some are stronger and the other is weaker.
