The island of Cayo Largo is practically isolated from civilization, and for this reason has still retained its uniqueness. Here in the middle of tropical lush vegetation you can meet confidently strolling flamingos and a gray heron, as well as small hummingbirds.
The untouched nature of this paradise, which has remained calm with the charm of the nineteenth century, attracts those who prefer to leave away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Cuba Cayo Largo is famous for its white beaches, the total number of which barely exceeds a couple of dozen. However, rest on them is a pleasure: there are never storms, and the water does not cool below 26 degrees.
The crystal clear sea attracts diving enthusiasts here, because it is in this place that the second largest barrier coral reef is located on the planet , striking with steep walls and underwater tunnels, as well as the diversity of its inhabitants: barracudas, marlins, lobsters, groupers, etc.

Las Sirenas is considered the most calm and beautiful beach on the island: there are practically no waves, and the merger of white as snow, sand with blue shades of the sea is amazing. Lindamar beach with a hotel zone is located a little further.
If you drive along the coast a little further to the east, you get the feeling that the island is uninhabited: among the many small hills and cliffs, many small beaches with fine sand as flour are lost. This part of the coast is called coconut because of palm plantations growing right by the sea.
Cuba Cayo Largo is so small that to get around it is enough to rent a bike or moped, where you can travel around the island and enjoy its natural beauties, and for a trip to the neighboring islands, boats and catamarans are at the service of tourists: they literally strewn the entire coast.
And if the beaches of Liberty Island are called the best in the world, then the beaches of Cuba Cayo Largo are the very first on this list.
