Knitting the main fabric is far from the most difficult process. At the end of the work, each knitter raises the question of how to close the loops correctly and beautifully. It is necessary to do this so that the work has a beautiful and neat edge that can no longer be processed, or vice versa - it will be convenient to continue working with it.
The easiest way to close the hinges is to use knitting needles or a hook. These methods are good, but not all needlewomen are happy with the results. Sometimes the loops can stretch unevenly, the hook is difficult to put into work, and the needles slip, which threatens the loss of loops.

- now again the needle picks up the first loop on the upper canvas, is threaded down, clinging to the lower loop;
- the operation is repeated until the end of the row;
- at the end, the thread is pulled to form an even seam.
If you close the loops with a needle in this way, the edges of the canvases will join tightly, giving the impression that the product is connected with one large canvas. The seam is masked and does not stand out from the general row. It is important to ensure that the tension of the thread that sewed parts of the product corresponds to the tension of the thread during knitting.
Simple row closure
To close a simple row with a needle, the needle repeats movements similar to working with knitting needles:
- cut the working thread, leaving the tail about 3-4 times longer than the connected row;
- the end of the thread is threaded into the tapestry needle. This needle with a blunt short end and a wide eye - it does not tear the thread and does not separate the fibers when stitching;
- the needle is inserted so that the first two loops on the left, working needle are caught;
- the needle is withdrawn inward, the tip to itself;

- the closed row is elastic;
- hinges do not constrain the canvas;
- connected loops look at each other according to the figure, without turning in the opposite direction.
