Dybenko Station is a metro that is especially popular not only among St. Petersburg residents themselves, but also among guests of the northern capital of Russia. “Dybenko” is a metro located on the orange line connecting the central part of the city with the southeastern regions located on the right side of the Neva. The station, like everyone else from this line, is underground, and belongs to the deep type of laying.

The subway structure is a three-vaulted column-wall type structure with a depth of 65 meters. It consists of one island platform of a direct form. From the ground lobby of the metro you can get to Dybenko Street, to Yesenin Park and to Bolshevikov Avenue.

The station was launched on the first day of October in 1987. "Dybenko" - the metro, which received the name due to the street of the same name on which it is located. Initially, according to the project, it was to be called the “Red Commissars” station, and later it was planned to rename the object to “Vesyolny Settlement”. Last offer was rejected.

I also had to slightly change the construction plan. The fact is that during the construction of the inclined path, a rock stood in the path of the drifters. And although the workers used the drilling and blasting method of construction, the trajectory still had to be changed.

The underground station was designed by architects O. G. Kravtsov, M. P. Antonov and G. A. Vasiliev. V. G. Khilchenko and K. G. Leontiev participated in the development of the ground lobby.

Dybenko Station is a metro that opens at 5.35 in the morning and ends at 0.05 at night. Near the subway is the famous Esenin Park, which is a great place for families. There are many attractions for both children and adults.

“Dybenko” - a subway, the columns and walls of the passenger hall of which are faced with dark gray granite slabs. For the decoration of the track walls, yellow-white marble was used. Lamps located behind the ledge illuminate the underground room.

Since the opening of the station was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Great Revolution, the decoration was devoted to revolutionary topics. Column rows interrupted by short walls are decorated with mosaic stone compositions. They depict wheat sheaves, a sickle and a hammer, a system of bayonets, fire and a flying banner. The end part of the wall is decorated in the form of a mosaic panel, also made of stone. The authors of the work are V.V. Sukhov, I.G. Uralov, N.P. Fomin and S.N. Repin. The painting depicts a woman in a leather jacket, she holds a rifle in one hand, and a book with the motto “Freedom, Peace, Brotherhood, Equality, Labor” in the other. All this personified the young Soviet Republic.
