Museum past
The history of the museum begins in 1896, when the governor of Sakhalin D. Merkazin organizes an exhibition where exhibits are collected by the forces of local administration officials and exiled intellectuals. - Second floor. Items tell about the development of the island, such a thing as hard labor, the pre-war era, Japanese dominion and modernity.
Street exposure
