Inexpensive smartphones, as a rule, have a rather mediocre appearance, and the Lenovo A606 is no exception. The characteristics of the case come down to using ordinary plastic with a rough surface for ease of use.
The design of the device is similar to a number of models. It will be incredibly difficult to distinguish a smartphone among the brothers from the series “A”.
The color scheme does not improve the impression. The user is offered only a black and white version. Actually, the design does not stand out against the general background.
The location of the external parts is already familiar to Lenovo. The front panel has a display, a front camera, a speaker, sensors, a company logo and touch buttons on it.

The Mail-400 MP video accelerator looks rather weak in the overall picture, but nevertheless it performs its duties properly.
A nice detail for a budget device will be the availability of a gigabyte of RAM. Among competitors, it looks like unprecedented luxury.
In the device of the company, as always, the built-in memory is lame. Of the installed 8, only 4.7 GB is available. However, it is possible to expand the flash drive up to 32 GB.

Most of the "A" series is equipped with 8 megapixels, they did not make an exception for the "Lenovo" A606 either. The characteristics of the photo are quite average, but there is no reason to expect more. The resolution of the camera is 3264 by 2448, and this is enough for everyday use.
The front camera has acquired a good 2 megapixels, allowing not only to make video calls, but also to make self-portraits.
System
The device works under the guidance of Android 4.4. It is he who occupies 3.3 GB of smartphone memory. The system is somewhat outdated and will not allow to fully reveal the potential of the hardware. Fortunately, updating the device with FOTA will be quite simple.
The proprietary Vibe UI shell is also present in the Lenovo A606. Interface features resemble Apple products. Games and applications do not have a separate folder and are placed on the desktop. To many owners, this seems uncomfortable.
Communication
In addition to working with the usual 2G and 3G networks, the device also supports LTE. This feature greatly improves the impression of the smartphone. The phone also has Wi-Fi and bluetooth functions.
