Sooner or later, a person is confronted with the question of the size of the pension, as well as of the benefits to which he may possibly be entitled. In many respects it depends on what experience will be gained. Therefore, individual constituent entities of the Russian Federation may provide for their conditions for its appropriation, including for 40 years of service. In most constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the conditions specified in federal law have been adopted. But some of them put forward their own conditions. These include the following regions:

Another pension reform is aimed at increasing the minimum insurance period. If before the introduction of the reform it was only 5 years, then after its adoption it will be equal to 15 years. Benefits do not depend on the results of calculating a pension. They are social in nature, therefore they are provided by the social service. But some of them are drawn up in other government agencies (for example, tax benefits - in the tax office).
When can a pension be increased
You can count on an increase in retirement when a person reaches 80 years of age, regardless of whether the period of work of a pensioner is 20, 30 years or work experience of more than 40 years. What benefits are provided in this case?
Surcharge for pensions of citizens of this age consists of a double size of a fixed part. Both the retirement score and the basic part of the payment are changed every year taking into account inflation. This year, the basic part of the payment is 4,982.90 rubles. If the pension of an elderly person was equal to 13,982.90 rubles, then after 80 years in 2018 it will amount to 18,965.80 rubles. (9,000 + 4,982.90 * 2).
Such recalculation is not carried out in relation to disabled people of group 1. This is explained by the fact that for them the pension is initially paid from a double indicator of the base part. In this case, there will be no reason for raising the pension for the loss of a breadwinner. But older people can apply for an old-age insurance pension. Perhaps its size will be higher than the payout for the loss of a breadwinner.
How can a pension be increased?
The new rules encourage Russian citizens to retire and draw up relevant documents later than the deadline in the general manner. The law says: if a citizen applies to the Pension Fund later than the deadline (but no later than 5 years from the moment of retirement age), then a raising coefficient is applied to the general calculation formula. Its maximum value is 1.36. The initial pension calculated by the Pension Fund is multiplied by this indicator.
In addition, payment to senior citizens is subject to annual indexation. This allows her to remain at a level sufficient to satisfy the basic needs of an elderly person. However, at present, indexation is not carried out in relation to payments to persons of retirement age who continue to work. Their payment increases due to the receipt of new retirement points at work. If indexation of pension payments is carried out at the beginning of the year (in January - February), then the recalculation of pension points in the middle (in August). But the maximum number of points that can be awarded to pensioners in one year is 3.
If benefits will be introduced over 40 years of experience that will save money, then they can also be considered a parameter due to which pensioners' incomes will grow. But today there is no such situation.
