Tula is located in the north of the Russian Plain, south of Moscow. The title "Hero City" was received in 1976. It is mentioned in the annals from 1146. It is an important railway junction. Trains move in Moscow, Kaluga, Kozelsky directions. There is also a route to Uzlovaya. There are two stations in the city. The first is Ryazhsky, located in the Zarechensky district (Tula). Building history

Currently, the building of the Moscow station is recognized as a historical cultural monument. The first building was erected in 1867. It was built of wood. Until 1870, two tracks were already held here and the first class was assigned to the station. According to the standards, all buildings had to be made of brick, so it was decided to erect a new two-story building. And already in 1868 a beautiful building towered , which had semi-oval windows and an original facade. Warehouse and office rooms were equipped inside, for the convenience of passengers, a buffet and a restaurant worked, equipped waiting rooms, canopies were made on the platforms, on the left side there was a luggage compartment. The Moscow railway station (Tula) expanded significantly by 1872, so it was decided to open workshops for the repair of railway equipment. They have survived to this day.

In 1913, an extension was built, which allowed to significantly expand the usable area. In the 50s of the twentieth century, the building was reconstructed. The station acquired original design features - bas-reliefs and stucco elements appeared. In the interior, the decoration was also updated - the walls were decorated with picturesque paintings. Overhaul was carried out in 2004-2009. During the reconstruction, the original design was completely restored. After all, this building is a cultural monument that Tula is proud of. The Moscow station was equipped with modern audio and video equipment. Thanks to this, now it is fully consistent with European standards. Currently, the building houses cash desks, intercoms, a rest room, mother and child, waiting rooms, a help desk and a luggage compartment.
