Largest region

The largest region of Russia is Tyumen. Its area is approximately equal to 1436 km. sq. - This is 8.4% of the entire country. Such large cities as Surgut, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, Tobolsk and many others are located here. In the Tyumen region lives 3,264,841 citizens of the Russian Federation, who represent 120 different nationalities. The population density is not very large. So, for one kilometer square there are only 2.2 people. But in terms of the number of residents, of course, Moscow still remains in the first place.

But still, no matter what region you live in, you are still a citizen of our vast country. After all, the list of Russian regions was created mainly for streamlining and convenience, and not in order to divide people.
