MTS-975 is an interesting smartphone model produced under the brand name of a mobile operator. The device received all the necessary functions for regular use. It has an attractive cost, which is significantly lower than that of similar devices. In the review, we will deal with all the advantages and disadvantages of the model, and also find out whether it is worth buying.
Equipment
Sold in a black box on which the manufacturer's logos are applied, a large inscription with the name MTS-975, specifications and additional information. In the kit, in addition to the phone itself, there is a charger, a USB cable, a headset, as well as a 2 GB memory card. Very pleased with the presence of microSD. For devices with a large amount of memory, this may be an optional attribute, but for budget employees it is a necessary minimum.
Design
MTS-975 is sold in two colors: black and white. The case is made of cheap plastic, pleasant to the touch. It has a matte finish that quickly collects fingerprints. The corners are slightly beveled for greater convenience.
The front side of the MTS-975 is occupied by a large display with several touch keys, in the upper part there is a front camera and a speaker. On the upper side there is a power button and a headphone jack. The microphone and miniUSB port hit the bottom. The volume rocker is on the right side. All buttons got a pleasant move, do not hang out and do not emit extraneous sounds.
The back cover is removable, with strong squeezing, creaks appear. There is a camera peephole with flash and a speaker. Also there is the inscription Paypass, which is made quite miniature. At the bottom there is a small operator logo. The cover is removed with effort, despite the plastic. Under it are a battery, a slot for a SIM card and microSD. A memory card and a SIM card can be installed by first removing the battery, which is not very comfortable.
Screen
The display received a 4.5-inch diagonal with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. The screen is made by TFT technology. There is a special frame around it, which should prevent scratches. Thanks to a good oleophobic protection, fingerprints and other dirt do not appear on the screen.
Installed IPS-matrix. The MTS-975 smartphone clearly cannot boast of a high-quality screen image. Often there is not enough brightness, even with a slight deviation to the side, information is distorted. You can’t actively work in the sun with such a display.
Performance
MTK 6577 is installed as a platform. It is intended for the initial segment of mobile devices, which you should not expect high performance from. In AnTuTu I scored only 8000 points, which, of course, is not enough for a modern device.
The “core” is the 2-core Cortex-A9 processor, operating at a clock frequency of 1 GHz. This is enough for the smooth operation of most modern applications. New games will not start, even old ones may have problems. Therefore, if you are looking for a gaming device, the MTS-975 will not work. This is a working machine that responds slowly to requests, which is fully consistent with its price.
The RAM here is also end-to-end - 512 MB. Except enough for the launch of the system itself. Many applications freeze noticeably, so you have to constantly clean out the memory. You can use it up completely by just installing several programs. Logs are noticeable even on desktops and in the browser, because of which the smartphone sometimes wants to be thrown away. Love speed - do not even look towards the MTS-975.
4 GB of internal memory. It would seem nice. Just only 1.4 GB is available for personal use. The rest is spent on the system and useless pre-installed programs. Partially the problem is solved by flashing. Be sure to buy a card, if not included, otherwise feel uncomfortable.
Battery
Equipped with a 1800 mAh battery. According to many users, they could have installed a more capacious one, because the thickness of the case allows you to do this. Enough for a day of average use. Active surfing on the Internet and games discharge the device much faster, so do not forget the charger.
Cameras
If you prefer high-quality images, do not buy the MTS-975. Photos are of rather poor quality, so the modules are installed here for show. The main camera received 5 MP, but it seems that much less. Frontal has at its disposal only 0.3.
Conclusion
MTS-975 is a budget smartphone, which you can buy for 4000 rubles. Great for calls and surfing. You can’t count on more.
