60 kilometers south-east of Krasnodar, in the valley of the Psekups River, there is a beautiful city called Goryachiy Klyuch. Its sights are amazingly beautiful places that nature itself has created. This is the only place in the southern part of Russia where the drinking of therapeutic Essentuki mineral waters is combined with the hydrogen sulfide baths of Sochi and Matsesta.
There are more than 10 mineral springs in the city, the waters of which are used both for drinking and for healing baths. There are thermal chloride-hydrocarbonate, hydrogen sulfide, alkaline and sodium waters, in which the water is heated to 60 degrees heat.
What unique places is the Hot Key famous for? Natural sights here can be combined into one large list, headed by the Abadzekh Mountain, whose peak is located in the city, on the right coast of Psekups. She appeared 10-15 million years ago. At its foot there are many healing keys. At an altitude of 100 meters, inside the mountain, there is an underground lake, the waters of which flow in a powerful stream on one of the slopes. They are called the Blue Spring.
Continuing to inspect what Goryachiy Klyuch is famous for, the sights of this place, you can not miss the 28-meter cliff, located above the Psekups River. Locals know it as the Rock of Salvation. The mountain peak from the resort is separated by the Dantovo Gorge, to which a stone path of 49 steps leads. It was cut down in the 19th century.
In the immediate vicinity of the stairs, the Key Stream flows, which merges with the waters of the Iron Spring. There are many legends about this stream. Near the Dante’s stairs are moss-covered sandstone cliffs on which visitors leave their inscriptions. A similar place is still on the opposite slope, located a hundred meters away, it is called the "ladder of life."
One cannot help but recall the Adov waterfall located on the right tributary of the stream of the same name. Its height is 12 meters. All tourists who visited the Goryachy Klyuch resort are eager to see this natural wonder. Sights of a similar nature can be observed here at almost every step, since there are 22 waterfalls in the Psekups River area, the beauty of which is beyond words. On the Burlachenkov creek slit, you can see a two-stage nine-meter waterfall. It is 10 kilometers from the Phanagoria village. The main unique feature of the waterfall is a ten-meter bath, formed at its base.
Sights of Goryachy Klyuch with photos cannot fully convey the beauty of these places. So, not a single photograph can reflect the beauty of the alley of a thousand pines. It consists of Pitsunda pine and Koch pine, and its length is two kilometers. It is located in the central part of Lenin Street. This alley is a kind of entrance to the Healing Park.
When viewing the Goryachiy Klyuch resort (Krasnodar Krai), the sights of this city, it is worth paying attention to architectural structures, many of which have historical value. So, at the foot of the Abadzekh Mountain is the Iverskaya Chapel, attached to the grotto at the end of the 19th century. Another unique building is located on the left bank of the Chepsi River. This is a fortress located 300 meters west of the Podnavisla farm. It was built somewhere at the end of the 1st millennium; an exact date has not yet been established. In addition to the described interesting places, the city has many monuments, including the White Obelisk - a memorial sign installed on the alley leading to the Healing Park in 1964.
