Not every Russian, especially living in the European part of the country, will choose the harsh Siberian region for vacation. But there are so many amazing places, perhaps even more exotic than the resorts of tropical countries that have already become familiar.
Unique Lake Tus
There is a unique corner in the south of Siberia, which is famous for a variety of natural resources and a favorable climate. The land of alpine taiga and steppes, the cleanest mountain streams and beautiful cascades of flowing water, transparent lakes and healing springs. This is Khakassia. Lake Tus, the rest on the shores of which attracts tourists not only from nearby areas, but from all over Russia, is compared with the famous Dead Sea. The thing is that the salt content in its water is incredibly high and amounts to about 155 grams per liter in the bottom part. The name of the lake is translated as “salt”. It is impossible to drown in it, even diving really does not work - water immediately pushes to the surface. Lake Tus has an area of more than 2.5 square meters. km, the greatest depth is about 4.5 m, the coastline stretches for 8 km.
Leisure opportunities
Today, not only incorrigible romantics who are used to traveling on their own cars and live in tents come here, but also supporters of more comfortable conditions. In recent years, camp sites have opened on the lake, where cottages with amenities are adjacent to the tent towns. I must say that in the summer, recreation facilities on Lake Tus are very popular among tourists, therefore, places must be reserved in advance.
The healing power of a bitterly salty lake
Tus lake - An excellent vacation spot where you can not only sunbathe and relax, but also improve your health. The special climate of these places, water of a unique composition and sulphide-silt mud at the bottom of the lake favorably affect the human body. Bathing is indicated for diseases of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, gynecological and skin diseases, pathologies of the joints and musculoskeletal system, and diabetes mellitus.
The recreation center "Sunrise"
Each vacationer who has arrived on Lake Tus will be able to find a camp site to his taste and possibilities. Voskhod, one of the most popular bases, is located 220 km from the capital of Khakassia - Abakan and 4 km from the village of Solenoozernoye. Guests can stay in a cottage, summer houses or in a tent camp.
The cottage for 10 people has cold and hot water. Vacationers have at their disposal a kitchen with necessary utensils, a refrigerator, a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
In the summer double houses, of which there are 37, electric stoves and refrigerators are installed. Vacationers are provided with bed linen and utensils.
Of the amenities in the campus there is electricity. Tourists who come to Lake Tus can put up their own tents.
In the summer, the recreation center accommodates up to 128 people, in winter only the cottage is open.
On the territory of the camp site there is a shop and cafe for 50 people, a bathhouse, a sauna and a hot shower, a volleyball court and a football field, as well as a sports equipment rental point: badminton rackets, catamarans, balls, bicycles. On the sandy beach, guests are provided with sun loungers.
The recreation center "Voskhod" offers its clients wellness treatments. This is a cedar phyto barrel, massage bed, therapeutic salt baths, massage, pressotherapy. In the evenings, discos and other recreational activities for the whole family are organized on the beach.
Children of any age are accepted for accommodation, but only accompanied by adults. The territory of the base is constantly under guard.
The recreation center "On Tus"
This camp site, located on the southern shore of the lake a hundred meters from the water, was opened not so long ago, in 2010. Tourists are accommodated in five two-room houses with a total capacity of 30 people. Electricity is provided in the houses, and bedding is provided. In addition, the territory has a bathhouse, toilet, utility buildings, outdoor shower with imported fresh water.
Each house is divided into two parts with separate entrances. The rooms are 9 square meters. m, designed for three people, there are double and single beds, tiers, a table and electrical outlets. On the
open veranda of 6 square meters. m equipped kitchen: table with a bench, refrigerator, gas stove, kettle, dishes, washstand.
There is a sufficient quantity of imported drinking water for domestic needs, but there is no drinking water here. There is no infrastructure at the camp site, so you need to bring water for drinking and food.
The cost of living in June and August is 1800 rubles, in July the price is slightly more expensive - 2100 rubles. The price includes electricity, water, shower, beach. Residents at the camp site can use the parking lot and barbecue facilities free of charge. A visit to the bathhouse - 600 rubles (per hour).
The recreation center "Living Water"
The camp site is located at the foot of the mountains in one of the most beautiful places in the Khakassky reserve. Recently refurbished summer houses with partial amenities are located 300 meters from Lake Tus. They have an area of 12 square meters. m and are designed for two (with a maximum placement of up to 4 people). In total there are 7 houses for 14 vacationers at the camp site. Each room has two beds, a wardrobe, a table and bedside tables.
The houses have electricity, but there is no cold and hot water, as well as sewage. Fresh water for household and food needs is located in a specially designated place and delivered to the houses by holidaymakers themselves. In addition, on-site showers with cold water and toilets are installed.
A shared kitchen is located on the street under a canopy. Everyone is provided with electric stoves and dishes. The cook of the camp site, specializing in oriental cuisine, can prepare dishes to order. The administrator has two refrigerators where food is allowed to be stored. On the territory there is a small outlet where you can buy the necessary products: bread, tea, juices, drinking water, chocolate, canned food, fruits, vegetables and more.
You can rent a house for at least 4 days. The cost in June and August will be equal to 550 rubles, in July a little more expensive - 600 rubles.
The price includes fresh water supply, electricity, shower, parking. For bed linen (one set) you will have to pay 100 rubles, a barbecue rental - 50 rubles per day. One child under 4 years old has the right to free accommodation without a bed, a child from 4 to 7 years old can rest at the camp site for half the cost.
Nevertheless, nature lovers, seekers of thrills, but not at all comfortable hotels, go to these parts mainly. And it does not matter which recreation center will be chosen, Lake Tusa is the main purpose of the trip, a source of delight and unforgettable experiences.
