What is the best way to use an empty plastic bottle? Some will remember scoops, vases, holders for mobile phones. But few people will think about what can be built at home from plastic bottles.
The author of this incredible project was a German engineer who developed about fifty projects in several countries using ECO-TEC technology. He built a house out of bottles, using them instead of bricks. It turned out that if you fill the bottle with earth, then in strength it will not yield to the brick. Building a house from

Plastic bottles can be used several times. They are easy to use and significantly reduce the cost of funds for building materials (their low cost was mentioned above). A self-built bottle house can last about 300 years. What other material can boast such durability?
How to build a house out of bottles?
To begin with, we collect our building material in huge quantities. Not all bottles need to be the same; it will be better to use different sizes and shapes. Stock up on plenty of sand! Now we fill all the bottles, filling them with dry compacted sand, and close the cork. So that the structure has greater strength, we knead a little cement, add clay, sawdust and earth to it, then we glue the bottles to each other.
Construction should always begin with columns, which should be at least three. A swarm under the column foundation is a pit about 100 cm in diameter so that the radius is larger than the diameter of the support (at least 20 cm). Next, we insert the reinforcement under the columns and put the bottles around the reinforcement with stoppers inside. With a twine, we tighten the knot on the neck of the bottles so that the neighboring caps touch each other. The gaps that have formed between the bottles must be poured with a mixture of cement and left to settle. To fill the space between the bottles, you can use construction debris or pieces of bricks.
As soon as the column is built, leave it to complete shrinkage and plaster. Then we begin to build the walls. The tactics are the same: the bottles are placed on the solution and the necks are tied with twine. Then the walls are plastered.
The roof of such a house is live (from turf). This is not only a matter of aesthetics. Such a roof warms better in the winter and gives coolness in the summer, and also helps to save energy and save.
The last step in the construction of this unusual house is its interior decoration.
The essence of this concept is that the bottles do not have to be buried or burnt, thereby polluting the nature. Instead, they will focus on building environmentally friendly housing. Thus, you, so to speak, combine the pleasant and the useful. And this is quite interesting and reasonable!
