Cedars proudly stand in a pristine coniferous forest, crystal mountain rivers meandering, filled with ice water. The huge deepest lakes are fed by glaciers of underground groundwater. Altai nature
The list of world cultural and natural heritage adorns the Altai Reserve. The area surrounded by high mountains is occupied by a wild forest, which is only occasionally traced by the modest paths of foresters. There is not a single highway in the reserve. This unique place is rich in lakes, the number of which is 1190. The huge Teletskoye Lake, adjacent to the protected area, closes the reservoirs with cold clear water. Landscapes of extraordinary beauty open from Belukha Mountain, the highest Altai mountain. An extremely rare and noble beast lurking here is listed in the Red Book - the snow leopard.
Seven Wonders of Russia

Pride of Krasnoyarsk
Krasnoyarsk Pillars is a state nature reserve located near the city of Krasnoyarsk. The right tributaries of the Yenisei surround the territory. The total area of the reserve is forty-seven thousand hectares. Travelers who come here are in a hurry to admire the volcanic Sient remnants representing the "pillars". Rocks rise in the reserve, the total number of which is about one hundred. All of them are divided into smaller ones, each of which the people gave a name to.
