Already in the second year of the war, it was at this place that it was proposed to implement a draft memorial dedicated to the future victory over the invaders. A return to the previously unfulfilled plan occurred in 1958, when the Moscow Victory Park was laid, planting trees on its territory and installing a commemorative granite sign.
On the 9th anniversary of the victory over the Nazi invaders, on May 9, 1995, the grand opening of the stunning
