New Year is a holiday when you want to put on something magical, fabulous, to match the wonderful atmosphere that accompanies it. Moreover, all kinds of changing clothes, transformations are interesting for children. Therefore, to make his little son a carnival costume, and even connected with his favorite fairy-tale characters, means to present him a wonderful surprise. Especially if the child is expecting a matinee in a kindergarten or school!
We come up with an image
Among children of senior kindergarten groups and elementary school students, characters of various animated series are among the invariable favorites: just the elusive ninja and ninja turtles, Spider-Man, Batman and other super-heroes. So let's imagine how you can create a ninja costume.
As I recall, this is an almost invisible shadow warrior that emerges from the darkness, is razed by enemies on the spot with a sword and again disappears without a trace in the darkness. Therefore, we need a black leotard. Pants have a fairly loose cut in ears, but they are tight-fitting on the hips. In general, trousers are perfect from a summer tracksuit. To give Japanese color and make the thing more spectacular, you can draw several hieroglyphs on plain paper, paint them with a red felt-tip pen, cut them out and gently paste them above the knees or around the lower leg. The leotard will become more like a real ninja costume, if below - above the ankle - the ears are wrapped several times and tied with strips of red cloth.

Now the top. Great if your son has a black turtleneck or sweater. A fine trowel of the same color will do. We will work with them to further create the image of the undaunted ninja! On the chest and back you need to make a large print of the same characters that you attached to your pants. Without it, our
ninja costume will lose its "zest". So again, we take up the paper, felt-tip pens and scissors. By the way, as an option, you can cut the picture on the material and attach. Or such a proposal: combine red with silver. This is not an ordinary ninja costume, but a carnival, fairy-tale one, therefore, all sorts of “sparkles” will not spoil it, but will make it more vivid and spectacular.
On the sleeves of the cuff we trim with a red edging. The same color we need a belt. To do this, we take a not very wide, but rather long flap of matter, preferably silk or another fabric with tints and shine. When we put on our ninja costume, wrap a cloth around his waist, and tie the ends on a side with a picturesque knot - let them freely fall along the body to about the knees. It is desirable to draw silver lurex threads into the belt so that this part of the outfit does not stand out from the overall style composition.
Now it's up to shoes and a hat. With shoes it's easier. High-soled sneakers or berets - and nothing better is needed. And the headgear is a hat-mask with slots for the eyes. To do this, you can sew from thin black fabric something like a small bag that is worn on the head. Its length should reach the shoulders. Slots should be made at eye level.
This outfit can be used as a basis if your little son wants a
costume for a ninja turtle later
. It can be simply supplemented with some specific details.
And the final touch to complete the image of the undaunted warrior is a steel sword. A long skewer is perfect for this purpose, especially if you tinker a little over the “handle”. Or make weapons from cardboard or wood and process with silver.
That's all. The brave ninja is ready to protect the Christmas tree and everyone who came to the carnival from evil forces!
