Inside Italy is the smallest state in the world - the Vatican. Often it is called "dwarf", and in translation its name means "place of fortune telling." From all over the world, people come there to see the greatest architecture, visit famous museums and just feel the spirit and power that prevail there. The most striking landmark of the country is the Vatican Museum. In fact, there are a lot of them throughout the territory, but, like everywhere else, there are the most visited and “forgotten” places. Some of them include Roman Catholic churches, while others simply delight tourists and local residents with their wealth, grandeur and history.

The Vatican's most famous museum is the Gregorian Etruscan. It has about eighteen halls, smoothly turning into each other. In this place you can admire the ancient Greek vessels from the necropolises of the Etruscans, household items of the people and many other things. No less popular is the Vatican Historical Museum. Having visited it, you can see an exhibition of carriages in the Lateran Palace, a collection of exhibits that are known about the history of the country, and many other historical monuments.
All museums located in the country, of course, are associated with rulers - popes. They tried in their life to collect the brightest and most valuable works of art, placing them in an appropriate place. Each room stores various reminders of ancient times. In the Vatican you can find
sculptures of Ancient Greece and
Rome, mosaics, antique figures, sarcophagi, octagonal courtyards and many other interesting things. In addition, each person has the opportunity to visit the Vatican grottoes - burials
of the popes. Tapestries, candelabra galleries, apartments of the most famous rulers - all this can be found by visiting the Vatican Museum. The only place where it is not easy to get to is considered St. Peter's Basilica. To visit him, those who wish to pre-write special applications that are considered for some time (namely two months) and, accordingly, the Vatican department either allows a person or rejects his application. For example, children under 15 are not allowed to visit a pagan cemetery.
Each tourist can view all the Vatican Museums, photos of which are provided in special booklets. For example, one of the most beautiful and frequently visited places is the Vatican Library. There you can find the rarest books, as well as hold the masterpieces of world literature in your hands. It is in the Vatican that the most ancient manuscripts in the world are brought together.
Vatican Museum, Rome - integral parts of each other. All roads lead there. In the "dwarf country" are the museums of Chiaromonti and Pio Clementino, which are considered one of the most popular. A marble zoo was erected inside the latter, where the rarest and most beautiful animals are stunningly depicted.
