Location
The recreation center "Volyn" is located in the Pskov region, on a very beautiful peninsula, crashed into Lake Zizzycka, one of the "fish" and largest in the region. Nearby is the village of Kameno (Kuninsky district). On three sides, the base is surrounded by water. The shores of the lake are unusually picturesque, there are convenient paths for walking, beaches, as well as huge boulders covered with mosses, against which many people like to be photographed. How to get there
You can get to the Volyn base by rail and road. A train departs from Moscow from Riga Station every evening to the city of Velikiye Luki. He arrives in the morning, at five to seven. Description
The recreation center "Volyn" is located on a well-groomed territory surrounded by pines, spruces and birches. Designers created it stylized as an old Russian village. All buildings here are made of wooden logs, even a children's town is fully consistent with the general background. Along the houses laid boardwalks with railings. Rooms
The recreation center "Volyn" offers guests to accommodate 7 houses, called "Hunter", and 7 cottages, called "Volyn". The price of living in them is different, as they differ in comfort and arrangement.
The houses correspond to the class "Standard" and have 2 floors. On the first floor there is a bedroom (for 2 persons), a kitchen (all necessary utensils, a refrigerator, sugar, tea are provided), a bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin, a TV, a telephone, a safe. Cottages correspond to the category "Comfort" or "Junior Suite". They are also two-story. On the ground floor there is a living room with comfortable soft chairs, a fireplace, a sofa, a telephone, a safe, a TV, a kitchen with a set of wooden furniture and lots of dishes, a toilet. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, each for 2 persons, there are necessary furniture, a bathroom, a balcony. Towels, a hairdryer and a set of hygiene products are provided in the bathroom.
There are no air conditioners in the rooms, but the Pskov region, like the whole region, does not have a very hot climate, so the guests are quite happy with the fans.
The rooms are cleaned only on the day of departure, the linen does not change. Near each house and cottage a parking lot is provided.
Nutrition
The recreation center "Volyn" (Pskov region) has its own restaurant, located in a two-story building stylized as a Russian log hut. All dishes are prepared with fresh products (fruits, vegetables, meat, fish from the base farm or from local farmers, sometimes game is served). Guests are offered excellent breakfasts (the price is included in the room rate), lunches and dinners. Meals can be ordered to your liking. The rooms have kitchens, but no stoves. They need to be taken separately.
There are two banquet rooms at the restaurant (one for 35, the second for 50 guests). This makes it possible to conduct various events and holidays on the base.
