Unfortunately, and perhaps fortunately, not all fishermen know about the hidden places of Gladyshevsky Lake. History and geography of Lake Gladyshevsky
The lake lies in a hollow among steep, coniferous hills. Its depth reaches 14 meters, but there is information about depressions up to 24 meters. In the southeast, the Gladyshevka River flows from the lake, carrying water to the Chernaya River, and then to the Gulf of Finland. Strict rules for catching fish during spawning: warning signs located everywhere, careful checks, constant patrolling of the water area - all to maintain the proper level of fish population. Solidarity is also shown by fishermen: they catch only in permitted places, release the trifle that was caught back, so that it grows by the next season.
