A family
The girl’s father Alexei Bubnov served as secretary of the Leningrad City Executive Committee since 1943. After some time, he was arrested during the implementation of the Leningrad case. In 1950, a man was shot because of charges of participating in counter-revolutionary activities and assisting enemies. After 4 years, he was posthumously rehabilitated. All members of the family of Aleksei Aleksandrovich automatically came under suspicion, for which they were also arrested. The girl’s mother was sent to Taishet camp, and Lyudmila herself was taken to the children's labor correctional colony, where she lived until 1953.
The head of the colony, Victoria Nikolaevna, immediately noticed an active and capable girl. They communicated with each other, and Victoria Nikolaevna did everything in order to give the baby the opportunity to build her life. Lyudmila Verbitskaya studied at school, and then was able to pass entrance exams at the University of Lviv at the Faculty of Philology. After her father was rehabilitated, Verbitskaya was able to transfer to Leningrad.

Verbitskaya Lyudmila Alekseevna, whose biography is described in this article, graduated with honors from high school. With Leningrad University, her life was connected for a long time. After graduation, she was a laboratory assistant, then a graduate student, and soon became a junior researcher. Verbitskaya Lyudmila Alekseevna wrote about 300 educational and scientific manuals in the fields of phonetics, philology and general linguistics. They formed the basis for the creation of new directions in philology, which are associated with the interference of sounds and pronunciation standards. The woman never rested on her laurels; therefore, in 1965, Verbitskaya Lyudmila Alekseevna defended her thesis, and in 1977 she defended her doctoral work. A year before the defense of her candidate work, she was elected a member of the Russian Academy of Education. In the fall of 2013, he assumes a new position - the president of the Russian Academy of Education. Lyudmila Verbitskaya receives government approval for the position.
Under the President of the Russian Federation, Lyudmila Verbitskaya is a member of a number of Councils: on science, linguistics, and guaranteeing the constitutional rights of citizens. In government bodies, a woman is a member of the methodological council for educational publications at the Ministry of Education and Science. Personal life
Lyudmila's husband had a similar story. He was the son of Alexander Verbitsky, who was repressed in the same Leningrad case. Vsevolod Alexandrovich was the only husband of Lyudmila. In the marriage, the couple had two girls - Victoria and Elena. The man died in 1998.

The second paragraph contains words that are sorted according to industry and sensible language norms. It is most useful for people who work in the economic and political sphere. The third paragraph is devoted to the words that cause the greatest difficulties. Most often these are words borrowed from other languages ​​that have not yet fully merged into Russian.
What else did Lyudmila Verbitskaya leave us? “Let's talk like Petersburgers” is a new creation of the philologist, which is devoted to youth slang. The project is that residents will be able to learn about youth words and how to pronounce them correctly. To do this, on the streets of St. Petersburg on posters, in the subway, in public transport, etc., posters were hung that contain informative information. In an interview, Lyudmila Verbitskaya says that this project is aimed not only at city guests, but at all, because for many years they have not known the basic rules.
