Tourists staying at the Oktyabrskaya Hotel distinguish the hotel as a good location (in the historical part of the city, right on the main avenue of the city of Pskov), excellent furniture in the rooms and decent condition of bedding (bedding and towels), TVs in all rooms and satellite TV, new plumbing and inexpensive secure parking (only 120 rubles per day).
The disadvantages include a small room area and a small refrigerator: there is not much to put in such a refrigerator. However, all these shortcomings are covered by the fact that the hotel is a fifteen minute walk from the famous Pskov Kremlin. Near the hotel there are a large number of different restaurants, cafes and a not very large, but insanely beautiful park.
In addition, guests are noted by friendly, friendly staff, ready to listen carefully to any wishes and immediately fulfill any request. The hotel has a separate room with a washing machine: washing will cost the guest 250 rubles. There is also a place for drying clothes and an iron with ironing board. There are coolers on each floor, which is also very convenient.
Some negative reviews of guests about the hotel were related to the lack of hot water in the room (guests encountered such a problem on the 4th floor of the hotel), or to the presence of a slightly warm stream of water instead of hot water (such a problem arose on the 3rd floor). Guests also noted an unpleasant pungent smell of paint. However, such a problem arose only once.
