Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev

He took an active part in the Komsomol organization of the educational institution, and in 1952 he joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, where he was eventually Secretary General from 1985 to 1991. He was the first and last president of the
Soviet Union. Since 1993, he was one of the members of the council and co-founder of one of the leading newspapers. Many awards and honors were earned by this man. In 1990 received the Nobel Prize. The leaders of the USSR were distinguished by their assertiveness and confidence.
