This is not a new resort. Thrill lovers, climbers and skiers have come here for a long time. Since 1982, a sports school of the Olympic reserve was deployed on the slope of Mount Adzhigardak. Since then, much has changed, but the charm of these places has remained unshakable.
Where is
Perhaps someone will be surprised that, living very close by, never once visited the Ajigardak. The ski resort is famous for its moderate air temperature, which does not hinder to spend all day on the slopes, as well as a huge amount of sparkling clear snow. It is located in the Chelyabinsk region, near the city of Asha.
Places are amazing with their originality. These are majestic mountain peaks and picturesque Ural forests, where a real Russian spirit is felt.
Local climate
Thanks to the natural conditions, Adzhigardak became so famous. Ski resort where the average temperature is 7-12 degrees below zero, this is a real paradise for lovers of winter sports. Many routes in the northern part of Russia are inferior to it precisely with their 30-degree frosts.
One gets the impression that you are in the Carpathians with their mild climate; in rare cases, the temperature drops to minus 18. But even on such days, Adzhigardak - a ski resort - does not stop working.
Resort Features
The most important thing in these parts is, of course, the mountain slopes. Skiers come just to get plenty of fun, and possibly improve their skills. There are all conditions for this. Are you a true ski professional ? Or maybe just yesterday got on the skis? In any case, “Ajigardak” will give you an excellent rest. The ski resort is equipped with 10 slopes of various lengths and difficulty levels, so no one will be bored.
- The first track is designed for children and beginners. A 350-meter-long lift opens a steep descent from the back, lasting 400 meters.
- Having tried your strength, you can proceed to the second route, here the length of the lift and descent are equal and amount to 550 m.
- For more experienced athletes, an adventure of medium difficulty is offered. There are 4 tracks in this category, the length of the lifts is 600, 800 and 1300 meters, the length of the descent is 700, 800 and 1500 m, respectively.
- Thrill-seekers can tickle their nerves on highways. The length of the lift is 1200, and the descent is 1800 meters.
- For training athletes there is a special track, access to which is only by passes.
The towing lifts are always in working condition, a special repair team monitors this. Your attention is presented with the possibility of nightly conquering the mountain slopes, walking and descending along brightly lit tracks. Ski jumps and snowboards will give an indescribable feeling and leave a lasting impression. Largely thanks to them, Adzhigardak is so loved among extreme sportsmen. The ski resort has been collecting reviews for several years. And all of them are splashing with positive emotions and enthusiasm. Tourists who visit the resort emphasize its amazing similarity with the famous Krasnaya Polyana, although the cost of recreation here is much lower.
Road to the resort
The season has come (the recreation center accepts visitors from December to the end of April), it is time to get ready to conquer Adzhigardak. The ski resort (how to get, we will tell you a little lower) is located on the Western spurs of the Southern Urals. There are no problems with transport today, you need to choose the one that will quickly and conveniently deliver you to your destination. It can be a train with a final stop in Chelyabinsk, following through Asha station. Electric trains and shuttle buses between the nearest settlements will also quickly take you to your destination. If you have your own car, then stock up on a map or navigator and hit the road. In the resort area there is a convenient parking place.
If you live far away, you can use the services of airlines, taking a ticket to Ufa, and then get on an electric train or bus. The road will not seem too long for you, because Ajigardak is waiting for you in front of you. Photos taken at the stops, and even at the base itself, will forever leave in your family album a memory of a wonderful healthy vacation.

Like any modern recreation center, Ajigardak does not limit its offers to tourists only as an exciting pastime on the mountain slopes. The most popular service is, of course, equipment rental. Skis, snowboards, skates and sledges (there is an ice rink here) - in general, everything that can come in handy for a fun holiday.
If you come with your family for a few days, they will provide you with a cozy house that contains everything you need for life. Another service will delight parents: the nannies and animators will keep your child busy and will not let him get bored while you climb the slopes.
