In anticipation of the World Cup and due to the intensive growth of new neighborhoods by 2018, St. Petersburg acquired three bus stations and one bus station for a private driver. From here comfortable buses depart for intercity, international and suburban flights:
- Central Bus Station on Obvodny Canal.
- Northern bus station in Devyatkino.
- Bus station "Parnassus".
- Tourist flights from Ladoga railway station.
The oldest and busiest bus station is on Obvodny Canal. The bus station on Parnassus also exists recently, as well as the microdistrict under construction in the district. Suburban minibuses and private tourist buses depart from the Ladoga station.
But the bus station in Devyatkino should be described separately - only this station bears three names at once: "Murino", "Devyatkino", "Severny".
Location
Located outside the Ring Road in the new urban area of Murino, the Northern Bus Station "Devyatkino" in St. Petersburg has settled on Privokzalnaya Square since 2005.
You can get on the subway, having reached the terminal station of the same name - "Devyatkino". Or through commuter trains to the railway station.
Both the subway and the railway platform are located from the bus station at a distance of no more than 200 meters.
The building itself is a bright two-story pavilion.

Buses depart from the square in front of the Devyatkino bus station building, which was put into operation in the fall of 2015.

Service
Judging by the reviews of travelers, services so far leave much to be desired. Transport is not always delivered on time and is not cleaned.
The plus is that there is a left-luggage office, touch terminals, a first-aid post, small cafes and amenities are located inside the building.
And, nevertheless, the enterprise is developing. Comments are taken into account.
Advance sale of tickets starts two weeks in advance, and ends 5 minutes before the departure of the flight.
There is a 50% discount for children from 5 to 12 years old. It is only necessary to present a supporting document.

The need to launch a new bus station has been brewing since the beginning of 2000, when the Murino area began to be actively built up. An acute shortage of transport links was discharged with the commissioning of the Devyatkino bus station.
But much remains to be done before the station takes on the form approved by the urban planners and will help to finally remove the problem of international and intercity transport links of St. Petersburg in the north.
