Holiday hat made from scrap material
Making a beautiful and creative hat using only junk material is not at all difficult. Take a thick cardboard and cut out of it a circle of the desired diameter. Then prepare a jar of plastic, cut off the bottom and glue it firmly in the middle of the circle. It turns out a great workpiece. Wrap the jar and cardboard hats with twine (do not forget to use glue for fastening). It is better if the twine is light in color. Soak it before working in bleach.

Cut many circles of different sizes from the fabric, combine flowers from them and decorate with any bead in the middle. Color the hat from the spray can (the golden color of the paint is perfect). Take sisal and wrap the craft in the middle. Then glue the flowers. DIY hat ready.
How to make a crown for an Autumn costume?

Draw different leaves on the cardboard and cut out patterns from them. Now prepare any fabric of orange shades and cut out two half circles from it. In size, they should correspond with the largest autumn leaf pattern.
On one of the semicircles, redraw the sheet, on the second - impose a synthetic winterizer. We put the second semicircle on top and sew them together. Using a sewing machine and black threads, we depict lines (veins) on the surface of the sheet. A zigzag seam is ideal for this.
Now cut the sheet along the contour. Do the same a few more leaves. The base of the crown is cut out of the Poriplex and sheathed with a yellow cloth. Such an autumn hat is not done very quickly with one's own hands, but everyone present at the holiday will definitely like it. We return to work: we sew the lower and upper parts of the crown with lace of a suitable color and attach leaves to it.

Autumn hat: DIY craft from maple leaves
To create a creative headdress, you will need a lot of real maple leaves, about three hundred pieces.
First, we sort the leaves by size: the largest are needed for the crown, the smallest are needed for the fields, and the middle leaves will be the main “working area”. Do not forget that for weaving leaves with long tails are necessary.
Cut the cuttings at an acute angle. We bend the first large sheet in half, piercing it with the sharp tail of the second large sheet. Each next sheet seems to “flash” the previous one. The result is a circle. At the edges we fix the leaves folded in half. They form fields. And without that, a beautiful hat can be additionally decorated with rowan berries. It turns out a creative handmade autumn hat that will decorate any interior. Doing it yourself is interesting not only for children, but also for adults.

If you decide to do it easier and cut an ordinary cylinder out of cardboard, then you have to decorate it. What can be used as a decor for an autumn headdress? First of all, of course, rowan branches, dry leaves and flowers, cones and acorns are suitable.
If you do not want to use
natural material, make autumn leaves and flowers using the quilling technique, knit jewelry with a hook or knitting needles, use artificial flowers, felt, sisal, ribbons bought at the store. All this will organically fit into the autumn motifs.
