The Leningrad region is truly rich in its reservoirs. These are such "giants" as Onega and Ladoga or the famous Vuoksa and Otradnoe. Among the 1800 reservoirs belonging to the water network of St. Petersburg, a small, little-studied Koltush lake also found its place. Reviews about him are only positive. Location and natural features
The reservoir is located in the village of Koltushi, Vsevolzhsky District, Leningrad Region, and has an elongated shape from southeast to northwest. The largest lake is small, about 500 m long and about 120 m wide. The total area is approximately 3 hectares.

The lake is located on the territory of the Koltushsky heights reserve. This is a stretch of nature, partially of glacial origin. Most of the protected area is the forest.
