Beluga Mountain is the highest point in Siberia and Altai. It is located in the northeast, and the peak of the mountain is a peak whose height is 4.506 km. This is the kingdom of ice, snow, formidable avalanches and beautiful sparkling waterfalls.
The first researchers were delighted with the beauty of the area and even compared Altai with Switzerland. In Mongolian the word Altai means โGolden Mountainsโ and there are good reasons for that. Buddhists believe that Beluga Mountain is the "heart" of the Universe, and ancient Christians also considered Belovodye a blessed country in which people feel happy and peaceful. It is not just a symbol of Altai, it is a place where you can recharge your batteries. Many legends are associated with Mount Belukha, and for a long time it has been considered sacred.
Symbol of AltaiMount Belukha is a very interesting object for mountaineering and mountain climbing. It is located in a remote, inaccessible region in which no one lives. You can get to it by horse, on foot or by helicopter.
Beluga Mountain is located at the same distance from the four oceans - the Arctic, Indian, Pacific and Atlantic - exactly in the center. The well-known philosopher, researcher and artist Roerich N.K. believed that Altai (Belukha-gora) is a place of unification of three great religions: Orthodoxy, Buddhism and Islam.
Modern research of geophysicists
It is scientifically proven that Mount Belukha is a carrier of strong energy-intensive processes. Intensive energy flows from the mantle, through the earth's crust to the upper layers of the ionosphere, are emanating from this place. Often in the vicinity of Belukha you can see atmospheric glow. Climbing to Belukha helps a person to get rid of problems and negative thoughts, as he begins to interact with the energy of the area, receive impulses from nature and radiate them himself.
But it is worth noting that not everyone can be in such places for a long time, without fear of harming their health. Locals, for example, prefer to worship the Great White Mountain at its foot and go up only if absolutely necessary. All the space on the slopes and the foot of the mountain for the locals is a sacred temple. It cannot be investigated and analyzed with the help of human intelligence. This place is mysterious and unpredictable, and a person should climb the Great Mountain only with reverence.
Conquerors of Belukha Peaks
For the first time Belukha Mountain was conquered by the Throne brothers. It happened on July 26, 1914 - this date is considered the beginning of mountaineering in Altai. In 1926, an attempt was made to climb to the top of Belukha from the north, but the expedition had to return. Only in 1933, an expedition led by Vitaly Abalakov for the first time reached the top of the Great Mountain, having traveled the path from its northern side.
Today, the peaks of Belukha attract many climbers from around the world. Every year, ascents take place again and again, and despite the laid routes and modern equipment, Mount Belukha still tests people for the strength of strength and spirit.
