General Petrov and his comprehensive theory of divinity

In modern history there were many personalities who thought that they had finally found the root of all the evils that tormented unhappy humanity. After such a discovery, just a little remains - to eliminate the annoying obstacle to universal happiness. Unfortunately, more often than not, the simpler the solution seems, the more difficult the task is in reality.

Major General Konstantin Petrov thought about the imperfection of the world for a long time when he served in the military space forces of the USSR. A graduate of the Dzerzhinsky Academy of Missile Forces , he defended his thesis, held a high position in Baikonur, then taught at the St. Petersburg Military Space Academy, acting as deputy head of the educational institution. He certainly became one of the most authoritative leaders of the socio-political movement, which received the memorable name "Dead Water".

A description of the conceptual basis of the party, since 2000 called “Unity”, would take more than one page of long text, which indicates the vagueness of the program, despite the abundance of its graphic and even mathematical reinforcements. General Petrov set forth the theoretical principles of the organization in a simpler and more understandable language, demonstrating considerable erudition and extraordinary intelligence.

Participating in the meetings of neopagans, he called for unity around primordial values, that is, in fact, to the return of worship to the forces of nature. Of course, in the slender ranks of the defenders of the whole “scanty” and “homespun” place for Christians, there is no General Petrov “disowned”, after which he changed his name and became Miragor.

The movements in which this strange man took part changed their names, but he always held leadership positions in them. Even the term “God-bearing” was coined, symbolizing support by the higher forces of the new political party. In 1995, General Petrov was dismissed from the Armed Forces, at the same time there was a split within the inter-regional organization, which broke up into "Dead Water" and everything else.

The social movement has tried repeatedly to actively pursue its policy. General Petrov put forward his candidacy for the post of Novosibirsk governor and mayor, and for a beginner politician he showed good results, taking the middle places in popularity ratings.

The 2003 State Duma elections demonstrated a cautious attitude of the electorate towards a movement that proposed such radical social and ideological transformations: the five percent barrier was not overcome.

Financial support for Dead Water was provided by V. Efimov, the former ideological secretary of the Leningrad City Committee, who became the “pasta king” under the new conditions. Apparently, the desire for the only correct and comprehensive teaching has remained with him since past times.

Since 2005, Konstantin Pavlovich, aka Miragor, joins the MTR (Union of Slavic Communities). For legal reasons, the association changes its name to ROD KPE (“The Course of Truth and Unity”), and it becomes its chairman, not forgetting about literary activity. The two-volume “Secrets of the management of mankind” was published in 2008.

Major General Konstantin Pavlovich Petrov died in 2009, he was 64 years old. Despite all the oddities, according to the recollections of those who knew him well, he was an amazing person who sincerely believes in his idea.
