Reasons for adjusting the lens:

How can lens alignment be restored?
The most reliable and correct way is to contact a specialized service center. Moreover, they will justify both the "carcass" and the lens. If your camera is still under warranty, this procedure will not cost you anything. If not, you will pay a relatively small amount.
Usually this manipulation takes a week. But financial incentives for servicemen can bear fruit. It is real that they can handle the day.
The second option of how the lens alignment can be performed is adjustment in the "carcass" setting. But in some new cameras, this option is no longer there. The likelihood that you will be able to change something is. But to do this in practice is very difficult. Not to mention the cases when you need to adjust the zoom lens, which has various focus disturbances at different distances. In such cases, this method will not help for sure.
But if you need a Sigma, Tamron or Tokina lens alignment, this is an acceptable way. After all, there are no sensible specialists working with such devices in Russia. Or they are extremely difficult to find.
But remember that this process is laborious. In addition, autofocus is largely influenced by the temperature and type of target. It is unlikely that you will be able to recreate those laboratory conditions that are in the service center.
Of course, you can configure it yourself. But this is not recommended. You are more likely to damage the equipment than to tune something.
