Ski resorts of the Perm region will be open to everyone - from beginners to professional athletes.
Equipment for ski resorts
In the Perm region there are almost two dozen ski resorts. The ski season begins in late November and lasts until April. Some bases are ready to receive skiers all year round, providing in the hot season excellent artificial snow cover that cannot be distinguished from real snow.
Trails at ski resorts in the Perm Territory have varying difficulty. There are trails for beginners, they are called "green trails." They are equipped with all ski resorts. “Blue slopes” for lovers who are familiar with alpine skiing, but who do not have enough experience to ride downhill. "Red slopes" are on all ski resorts. They are for experienced skiers. On these routes a difficult route with a large length and steep descents, that is, large elevations. And only two ski resorts in Perm and Perm Krai have “black slopes”. They are located in Polazn and Takman. Ski elite ride on them. These are high-level tracks of both complexity and danger.
Holiday Village "Polazna": how to get
In the state reserve "Lunezh mountains" on the left bank of the Kama reservoir is the oldest of the ski areas of the Perm Territory - "Polazna". This is a huge territory where tourists who come to rest can find any activity they like. There are places where you can do winter and summer sports or wander in the reserve and meet nimble squirrels, and if you're lucky, see foxes. At the base there is a children's town with a cable car for little sports enthusiasts. In the equipped area located in the forest, teenagers can play paintball, as well as shoot at the shooting range.
Since the base is located near Perm, Perm-Polazna buses run from the city bus station. Arriving in Polazna, you can catch a local bus and drive to the base. Alternatively, you can call a taxi. If you need to get to the base with your own transport, you need to follow the highway to Berezniki. Passing through the villages of Polaznu, Penki and Konstantinovka, you will see that on the left there will be a banner indicating the ski base of the Perm Territory - "Polazna".
Complex infrastructure
Polazna welcomes tourists year-round, allowing them to enjoy both active and passive vacations. Single tourists and families come to the base. At their disposal are such objects of the base as:

Of course, the main advantage of the ski base of the Perm Territory is the tracks equipped with everything necessary for lowering and lifting, cross-country skiing tracks and snowmobiles, slopes for cheesecakes and a large snow park. At the beginning of each route there is a color indicator characterizing its complexity, the length of the route and the height difference are indicated. In total, there are 8 tracks in Polazna, each with a length of 250 to 750 m with a vertical drop of 40 to 150 m.
The winter season opens with the first cold weather, which occurs at the end of November, and lasts until April. In a cool spring, due to artificial snow cover, the season is extended for at least a month. On the base there is a descent for snowboarding or, as they are popularly called, “cheesecakes”. This is an alternative to sledding. The snow tub is a rubber circle with a plastic bottom.
Winter “Climbing” offers tourists lighted tracks in the evening. Due to the technique of snow compaction, the tracks are in perfect condition. If necessary, snow cannons are included in the work, the tracks are processed by snow groomers to ensure snow cover and comfortable skiing.
Equipment rental and prices
Usually, professional skiers use their equipment, but you can rent it at the base itself. The ski areas of the Perm region at affordable prices provide additional services, which include classes with professional instructors and payment of ski lifts.
At the rental point, anyone can take ski and children’s and adult’s ski kits, a set and snowboarder’s boots, skiing, boots and poles, as well as everything necessary for providing relaxation and sports in winter and summer. In the price list of the rental point there are prices for all equipment, as well as service subscriptions for sale at the ski base of the Perm Territory.
Active recreation center "Polazna"
For the summer, the Polazna active recreation center has developed a number of programs for family and corporate recreation. This is the organization of rafting on the rivers of the Perm Territory and excursions. Tourists can take a swim in Kama or go fishing on the shore. Those who wish can wander along the paths of the reserve. There are football and volleyball courts on the territory of the ski base of the Perm Territory.
Extensive children's programs have also been developed with interesting scenarios for games such as paintball and laser tag. Camouflage uniforms, markers, a mask, gloves are issued at the base and are included in the ticket price. Extreme sportsmen can test themselves on the Nilpmart water springboard.
