An amazing natural site located in the south of Primorsky Krai - Nazimov Spit. This quite popular place among fans to relax in the summer away from noisy cities is a long strip of sandy land with an average width of about hundreds of meters and a length of about five kilometers. In the widest place, the spit reaches a width of more than two hundred meters, and in the narrowest - about fifty.

Scythe is almost entirely located very low above sea level, and only its very end is framed by a series of low cliffs. One of the most remarkable is a peak of gray cracked stone thirty-one meters high, surrounded by reefs, located northeast of Nazimov Spit, at its very end.
Location
Khasansky district, where the Nazimov Spit is located in the Primorsky Territory, is the most remote southern region of this region. It borders with China and the DPRK. This is the "junction of the three borders", as it is also called. In particular, the Nazimov spit is located twenty kilometers northeast of the nearest Russian-Chinese border, and to the southernmost inhabited locality of the Russian Far East, the urban-type village of Khasan, is only thirty kilometers along the highway.
A local attraction of the Primorsky Territory, the Nazimov Spit, separates two bays from each other : the Expedition Bay , which is located on the western side of the spit, and the Reid Pallas Bay, which is in the east. From the northern, rocky tip of the spit, a view of the village of Posyet and the mouth of the Novgorod Bay opens.
Rest on the Nazimov Spit in the Primorsky Territory: description and bases
Kosa Nazimova is an ideal place for swimming and fishing. The coast is covered with pebbles and sand, and rudd is found in the sea. Places not far from Nazimov's spit are of considerable interest to lovers of outdoor recreation: lakes with brackish water, on which a lotus grows, as well as snakeheads and crucian carp. The healing mud, impeccably clean in terms of ecology and healthy, is rich in the bay of the Expedition adjacent to the Nazimova Spit. There are strong waves on the spit itself, but this does not prevent the existence of numerous recreation centers for tourists on it. Recreation facilities are localized mainly on the coast of Reid Pallas Bay, let us consider some of them in more detail.
The recreation center "Quiet"
On the territory of the base there are four-, three- and double houses, located at a distance of ten meters from the sea, in some houses there is a private kitchen. For guests arriving by car, free parking is provided. All amenities are available: hot and cold water supply, showers and a toilet at the base. There are also separate gazebos with barbecue facilities.
Bringing animals with you is not prohibited. There is a great opportunity to go fishing to a nearby freshwater lake and, if desired, visit the Marine Reserve as part of an excursion organized by the base. Of the minuses: meals are not provided, there are no dining rooms, so food should be taken care of by the vacationers themselves.
Holiday Village "Pearl"
Another recreation center, located on the Nazimov Spit in the Primorsky Territory, Pearl, provides its guests with fifteen triple houses with attached shadow canopies, each of which has electricity. The water, both hot and cold, is suitable for the shower, and it is not recommended to drink it, so it is better to get drinking water in a store in the base, where you can also buy the necessary food or bring it in cans with you. Meals are organized independently: a newly built kitchen with all the necessary equipment is available to holidaymakers.
If there is a desire to bring animals, it is better to agree on this in advance with the administration of the base. Excursions are available, as well as seafood delivery. The price for one house per day in the summer of 2017 ranged from 1,500 rubles to 2,800 depending on the month (in August it is more expensive).
Holiday Village "Marble"
Arriving at the Marble base, you can choose where to stay: there are ordinary wooden houses, and there are houses from sandwich panels, all of them have an area of twelve square meters. The first by the number of residents are divided into double and triple, and the second - into triple and quadruple. The houses are modern, with plastic windows and shutters, inside are furnished with everything necessary. As in the Pearl, electricity is present around the clock, but the outlets located in the houses can only be used for devices with low power.
Interestingly, the base has a bathhouse, a bar, a playground and a volleyball field. It is possible to rent a boat for boat trips or any other swimming facility (boat with oars, scooter). Standard entertainment such as hunting, fishing, field trips to bird markets or rookeries of fur seals are present. From the extreme: parachuting behind a boat or an ATV. The cost of the house is 2,000 rubles per day.
Other bases
The nursery of rabbits, birds and piglets, as well as billiards and ping-pong, trampolines and water rides are provided to holidaymakers on the Nazimov Spit in the Primorsky Territory by the recreation center "Raid Pallas". The base "Unforgettable Holidays on the Nazimov Spit" has its own dining room, however this does not deprive guests of the opportunity to cook their own meals. The base also organizes excursions to nearby islands, to stone grottoes and caves.
Opinions and reviews
Reviews about the Nazimov spit in the Primorsky Territory are generally positive. One of the shortcomings that people who have visited there is the lack of fresh water sources, but this problem is easily solved, because twice a day a car drives through the entire scythe and delivers drinking water, which can be purchased with a clean container.
As many say, Nazimov’s spit is long enough to accommodate a huge number of vacationers, so there’s no problem finding a place to park or spend the night if you go “savages”.
From the abundance of enthusiastic reviews about the place, we can conclude that it is really worth it to go there. Repeatedly in the reviews it is mentioned that sand is almost everywhere on the spit, and the closer to the rocks at the end, the more it is. Warm water and absolutely clean, shallow sea, which is especially good for children. On the one hand, there are almost no braids of waves, and on the other, there are ships and the surf is sometimes quite strong. According to some, the violent sea wind interferes, but it also helps out in extreme heat. And getting into a typhoon on Nazimov’s spit is a dangerous business.
How to get there
The journey from the regional center, the city of Vladivostok, to the Nazimov Spit takes about five hours. The distance between points is about three hundred kilometers. In order to get to the place from Vladivostok, you need to leave the city on a low-water bridge to the De Fries peninsula, follow the M60 highway to the settlement of Razdolnoye, and then turn left onto the A189 highway. Already in the Khasansky district, near Lake Swan, there is a left turn on the road along the coast, which leads to the spit. There is a pointer to Nazimov's scythe. There is also a shuttle bus No. 528 from Vladivostok to the village of Kraskino, from where you can reach a destination by taxi. By bus you can get from the regional center or the city of Ussuriysk to the village of Posyet, from which there is a water taxi to the Nazimov spit.
