It is here that the Feofania park in Kiev is located. The address of the object is as follows: 37 Akademika Lebedeva Street. You can get here both by your own car and by public transport.

The park can also be reached by public transport. To do this, you need to make one change: first take the metro to the Vystavochny Tsentr station, where transfer to a fixed-route taxi number 548 and go to the final stop.
A brief history of the area and the park
The first settlement arose here in 1741 (Lazarevka farm). At the beginning of the XIX century, the monastery was founded by Bishop Feofan Shiyanov. His name was later named the whole area in the south of Kiev. In the second half of the same century, the land of Feofania belonged to the Mikhailovsky Monastery, and after the October Revolution a suburban state farm was organized here.
By the way, the street leading to the park was named so by chance. In the middle of the twentieth century, a group of Soviet scientists led by Academician Lebedev worked in Feofania to create the world's first small electronic computer (abbreviated as MEWM).
Feofania Park in Kiev: photos and current status
The status of the monument of landscape gardening tract "Feofania" received back in 1992. In 2003, a large-scale reconstruction of the Kiev recreation zone began. Paved paths and alleys, bridges and flowerbeds appeared in the park, fountains, altankas and playgrounds decorated the territory. Feofania has become a place of true pilgrimage for the newlyweds.
Within the recreation area there are three healing springs, interest in which even Soviet scientists showed. Next to them is a font, the water temperature in which even in summer does not rise above +8 degrees. It is recommended to swim in it for those who have problems with the skin.
Entrance to Feofania Park is paid today. An adult ticket costs 10 hryvnia, a child costs 5. Cyclists will have to pay 20 hryvnias for the right to ride through the park. Tours should be arranged in advance (the cost of an hour and a half walk around Feofania with a guide is 120 hryvnias).
Panteleimon Church
An amazing fact: this beautiful building has the status of an architectural monument not of state, but only of local significance! Panteleimon Church was built in 1905 in the Moscow architectural style, at the request of the monks of the local monastery. The author of the building was the famous Kiev architect Evgeni Ermakov.
During the Second World War, the shrine was hit hard by a direct mortar strike. The temple was in a state of semi-ruin until the beginning of the 90s, when its reconstruction began. But the restoration of the iconostasis inside the church is still ongoing.
