Pshad Falls a virgin appears that attracts people, and when they approach the edge of the rocks, from which water suddenly falls, they push them down. According to legend, this mysterious stranger destroys men because she once lost her lover.
At the top of Mount Gebeus, you can see waterfalls that merge to form the Teshebes River. It is believed that they arose at a time when a wealthy nobleman tried to catch up with his daughters, who decided to leave with their lovers without the permission of their father. He met on his way a forest that suddenly appeared, a river and a stone wall - so the girls asked for help and protection from the ground. The nobleman lost his daughters forever. When he realized this, he cried and turned to stone. According to legend, a waterfall formed in this place. They call him "Men's Tears." Agree, a tragic, but at the same time very romantic story!
Section 3. Waterfalls. Gelendzhik. The uniqueness of the area
The most popular waterfalls on the river Zhane: Pshad, Plesetsk and Gebeuss. The valley is fabulous. If you go up it from the village of Renaissance, you can find yourself in an amazing place with cascades of waterfalls. For tourists, there is a cafe and souvenir stalls.
Gelendzhik waterfalls on the map are perfectly visible. Therefore, it is quite possible to reach them independently, and not just as part of an excursion group.
At the Plesetskaya crack on the river Thab are Plesetskiye waterfalls. There are more than 70 of them here. The tallest of them - Yellow, Tall, Wide and Tie - reach a height of more than 10 m.
The Pshada River and its tributary, the Red River, are famous for the abundance of waterfalls - there are more than a hundred of them. Most of them are small in height - up to 5 meters, the highest (9 m) - Olyapki Falls.
