The future Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Zubarev was born on August 26 in 1916. His father was a simple worker.
Peace years
Zubarev Alexander spent his childhood, a photo of which you will find in this article, spent in the city of Duzhkovka, located in the Donetsk region. From childhood, he dreamed of becoming a teacher. Therefore, he carefully mastered knowledge, first graduated from the usual, and then the school of factory training. But already in 1934, Zubarev Alexander began his studies at the geographical faculty of the Kharkov Pedagogical Institute. He graduated in 1938. And after that, Alexander Zubarev got a job as a geography teacher at the 88th Kharkov school. During work, he was elected secretary of the Komsomol school organization. Later, Alexander Zubarev becomes secretary of the Komsomol district committee of the Ordzhonikidze district committee of the city of Kharkov. In 1940, adopted by the CPSU (b).
Start of war
Alexander, who served as secretary of the Komsomol district committee, was instructed to engage in the mobilization of youth and Komsomol members. The Red Army needed more and more people to fight fascism. But work was also in the rear for the youth. Boys and girls worked in factories, producing industrial goods for the needs of the front. It was entrusted to Alexander to organize socialist competition among young people. Such competitions were organized in order to increase production volumes. Alexander was engaged in youth affairs in the territory of the Ordzhonikidze district.
Against the enemy
Alexander Gordeevich Zubarev was the secretary of the Kharkov regional committee of the Komsomol, so he did not have the right to oppose the decision of the regional committee of the Communist Party (b) U. In accordance with it, Zubarev was appointed to underground work and could not leave Kharkov, even when German troops came close to the city. Therefore, Zubarev headed the underground regional committee of the Komsomol since 1941. Under the leadership of Alexander Georgievich, the members of the regional committee were engaged in anti-Nazi agitation, issued leaflets. In total, 12 types of leaflets were issued, which came out in a circulation of 600 thousand copies. Despite Zubarevβs caution, he was still found and in the winter of 1942 the Gestapo arrested him. The Nazis shot him after torture lasting three weeks. On February 15, Alexander Zubarev died. His biography ends there.
Continuation of a story
He died during the war, but his memory is still alive. On May 8, 1965, an order was issued by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, conferring on Alexander Gordeevich Zubarev the title of Hero of the Soviet Union (posthumous). In the same year he was awarded the Order of Lenin. And the memory of the Hero is honored in Druzhkov, the city where he was born. The bust of Zubarev was installed at the entrance to the 2nd comprehensive school. Remember about him in Kharkov. In this city, one street is named after him. A bust of Zubarev was installed in Victory Square on the Alley of Komsomol heroes in Kharkov. His bust also stands in front of the main entrance to the Kharkov secondary school No. 88, where he worked for such a short time. Memorial plaques are installed on the house where he lived and on the institute he graduated from.

I canβt believe how such a young man (he was only 26 years old) was able to withstand the torture to which he was subjected by the Nazis and not to extradite his comrades. This is a great example of courage and fortitude, so his achievement will never be forgotten.
