Tropic Park in Yevpatoriya is one of the favorite places in the city among vacationers and city dwellers. Inhabitants of the Tropic Park
About 150 species of animals, birds and reptiles live here. Most of the inhabitants are either in the zoo from the day it was founded, or were born and raised right there. Regular visitors already well know long-livers in person and bring them gifts - toys.
In total, the zoo has about 10 species of primates, over 30 species of birds, more than 150 species of amphibians and reptiles, as well as numerous representatives of insects.
Mammals in the Tropic Park

Near the cell where a couple of lemurs live, there are always a lot of people who want to be photographed.
Among the inhabitants of the Tropic Park of Yevpatoriya there is a large collection of rodents (various mice, Degu squirrels, chinchillas, hamsters, rats) and rabbits. Cute dwarf horses prefer to treat themselves to carrots.
On the 2nd floor there are rare species of primates: oedipal and red-armed tamarines, white-eared marmosets, squirrel monkeys. These tiny creatures are only about 10 cm tall and at the same time are very curious and sociable. In addition, this is a curiosity, and not in any metropolitan zoo you can see the smallest monkeys in the world.
Evpatoria Zoo: snakes and fish
Terrariums are the pride of the Tropic Park of Yevpatoriya. Visitors' reviews about them are always laudatory, because in each aviary there is a piece of real jungle, desert or tropical forest with a waterfall.
In the terrariums are not only snakes, but also crocodiles, turtles, lizards, frogs. Here old-timers will be happy to show you:
- reticulated python, more than 7 m long;
- brindle python, whose age is over 30 years old;
- a huge anaconda, for which a spacious enclosure was built, and before she lived in the bath;
- Crocodile Vasya - one of the favorites of the zoo workers;

Among the lizards there are iguanas, basilisks, skinks, monitor lizards, scales, and others.
The rich world of insects and fish
The zoo in Yevpatoriya fully provides an opportunity to imagine how diverse and rich the nature of our planet is! Brightly colored spiders of the tropical jungle, Madagascar cockroaches and other insects are of genuine interest not only in children but also in adults.
And among the fish you can find an aquarium with a rainbow crab.
Birds in the Evpatoria Zoo
On the 1st floor in "Tropic Park" Evpatoria are colorful macaw parrots. Their cries of "ara-ara" drown out even the conversations. The parrot and the cockatoos delicately take treats in the clutches, talking with visitors in their own language.
On the 3rd floor there are many birds. Among them are owls, doves, Amadinas, various parrots, as well as a curiosity - a rhinoceros bird and a Turko - African cuckoo.

Finding a Tropic Park contact zoo is easy. It is located in the city center in the territory of the Children's Park, 200 meters from the main resort promenade Frunze Street.
Exact address: st. Tokareva, 43. We must go through the Children's Amusement Park and go out to the street enclosures, where there are foxes, birds of prey, poultry, rabbits and nutria. To the left of the enclosures is Tropic Park.
Getting on public transport, you need to get off at the Polyclinic or Nekrasova Street stops.
The zoo is open seven days a week, all year round, from 10:00 to 21:00.
