Dream Island Park is a construction project for a grandiose children's amusement park in the Nagatinsky floodplain (Moscow) . The total volume of investments in demand is $ 1.5 billion. An area of 100 hectares is allocated for the construction of the Dream Island park (total built-up area). It is expected that the park itself will spread over an area of 264.3 thousand square meters. meters. The exterior design of the Dream Island Amusement Park will be in the style of a fairytale castle, similar to the buildings of the legendary Disneyland. It is planned that many attractions will be erected in the facility. It is also known that the park will be divided into several thematic zones - children's, sports, interactive, family and park, equipped with squares and artificial lakes.
Infrastructure
For visitors it is planned to lay bicycle paths and pedestrian alleys with fountains. The complex will consist not only of a landscape park, it is also planned to build a concert hall, a cinema, a hotel, a children's yacht school, restaurants and shops. In addition, guests of the "Dream Island" amusement park will have the opportunity to use a multi-level parking.

It is known that the “Island of Dreams” park will be divided into thematic zones with forty different entertainments for children and adults. Twenty-seven of them will be represented by the most modern and unique attractions. In addition, the territory of the "Island of Dreams" park will be built up:
- A landscaped park (area - 31.9 hectares), including sports and children's areas, a dance floor, an outdoor cinema, a beach with pools and pavilions for master classes.
- A multifunctional concert hall for 3,800 spectators.

- City promenade with a central square (it is expected that its size will exceed the parameters of a football stadium by one and a half times), a glass dome and numerous copies of famous sights of the world.

- Themed restaurants and shops.
- Parking for 4,500 cars.
About the objectives of the project
This object is expected to be the first all-season amusement park in the country. Regardless of the time of year or weather, visitors will be able to relax, ride the rides, sit in a cafe or play sports. The park will also function as a children's educational playground.
What will the object look like in the future?
In the very center of the complex, under the giant glass dome, the world's largest all-season indoor entertainment complex will function, the area of which is comparable to the size of the territory occupied by 25 football fields. Here, under one roof, 40 attractions are going to be placed, the Lost Dinosaur World and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles zones. In addition, under the glass vaults, the construction of the Snow Queen’s castle, the city of the Smurfs, Dracula’s palace with monsters and horror caves, a magic palace for princesses, a circus, a multi-screen movie theater, playgrounds for children’s games is expected.
The main facade of the building will resemble the castle of Sleeping Beauty. A pedestrian alley with fountains, starting from Andropov Avenue, is brought to him. The Soyuzmultfilm pavilion will also appear on the territory, which will introduce guests to the heroes of Russian fairy tales and their favorite children's cartoons. Around the children's center they plan to set up a walking landscape park. On three picturesque alleys, dancing and light fountains, many flowering flower beds, benches and other landscaping elements will be installed.

It is known that the largest media and animation companies were specially invited to the project. Russia's first entertainment zone of Japanese cartoons will be open in the park for young fans of a famous masterpiece. It plans to build a cafe, a company store, as well as an attraction in which the main character will be the famous white cat with a red bow on her head.
About the unique roof design
According to the authors of the project, the roof over the central square of the park, made in the form of a glass dome, is not afraid of snowfall, heat or rust.
Its area will be 9 thousand square meters. m, that is, about one and a half football stadiums. The dome will be the largest in the country. It will be built in the form of the most lightweight glazed mesh shell made of metal. The roof is assembled from many cast elements. To each of them are attached structurally supporting rods made in the form of beams diverging in different directions. In its form, the system is similar to a honeycomb. An aluminum profile and 10 cm thick tempered glass are attached to the mesh shell.
Such a roof is not afraid of frost, heat and corrosion. Under it, it will be warm throughout the year. Climatic installations are provided, which will prevent the accumulation of snow. To drain melt and rain water, the creation of special drainage gutters is provided. Purification of air from fire and smoke is possible through a special ventilation system and additional opening flaps arranged in the dome. Part of the entertainment area will be covered by two more domes with a total area of 10 thousand square meters. m
Transport connection
It is known that near the project the opening of a new metro station Technopark has already taken place. It includes the construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing equipped with travelators, from Art. metro to the Dream Island theme park through Ave. Andropova. In the future, they are going to connect the Nagatinskaya floodplain with the 2nd South Port Passage. An automobile bridge up to 600 m long will be erected here.
In the future, they plan to build the Avtozavodskaya station on the Moscow Ring Railway (MKZHD) next to the park. The plans also include the construction of a road that can connect Ave. Andropov with the Moskva River, and a bridge for connecting to the Warsaw highway.
