It is interesting to relax on the peninsula at any time of the year. In summer you will be met by the Black Sea coast, and in winter - the beauty of courageous mountains.
Bakhchisaray
All the greatness of the Crimean nature can be observed in the city of Bakhchisarai. This atmospheric small town is located near the river Kachi, from Simferopol, the capital of Crimea, only 30 km. According to sources, the Crimean Khanate existed here about 300 years ago.
The city is simply filled with monuments of architecture and royal chambers. It has incredibly clean streets and magnificent landscapes. But special attention deserves a unique place - “Miniature Park”. Bakhchisaray is proud of him. The park was opened three years ago. For such a short period, he was able to attract many with his delightful expositions and fascinating history, and indeed the idea.
Location
The first place that should be visited by those who come to Bakhchisarai is the “Park of Miniatures”. Address: Bakhchisaray, st. Lenin, 4. The entrance is on a small hill. Earlier on this place was a groomed central park near the Khan's Palace. Now, thanks to a lot of work, a beautiful museum with amazing works of art has been arranged here.
The fence is decorated in the form of a picture with a castle, which fascinates everyone, beckons to look and plunge into the world of fairy tales and fantasies. Between all the exhibits there are many winding paths that allow you to view each item from all sides. This magical place will appeal to everyone. Adults will be able to enjoy the quiet and calm nature, and children will find all their favorite characters and more.
Crimea in miniature
Miniature Park (Bakhchisaray) is a place where you can immediately see all the attractions of the peninsula. For a short period of walk tourists will see the most beautiful places: Big Yalta, Big Alushta, Sevastopol and Bakhchisaray, Simferopol, Yevpatoriya and many other historical Crimean cities. Many guests, after a sightseeing tour in miniature, decide what to visit without fail.
On the vast territory fit almost all Crimean works of art. These are mainly palaces, monuments, fortresses. About 60 types of exhibits are exhibited in the museum under the name “Park of Miniatures” (Bakhchisaray), this also includes figures of cartoon characters.
In each miniature you can see the smallest detail of an architectural work. A special part is occupied by exhibits of Big Yalta, the well-known "Swallow's Nest", the famous palaces: Massandra, Vorontsov, Livadia.
Museum submissions reveal all the intricacies of these amazing places. Some miniatures are equipped with lighting, accurately convey the mood and atmosphere of these attractions. The Church of the Ascension of Christ, which is located almost on a cliff of rocks, is surprisingly precisely constructed and decorated. The Genoese fortress of Sudak conveys the whole mood of past events. The memory of the fallen soldiers who fought in World War II is immortalized here. And of course, you should definitely visit the Cathedral of Peter and Paul and the Cathedral of Alexander Nevsky.
Invaluable work
Each mini-exhibit was carefully thought out by architects and artists. High-strength plastic was purchased for making copies. All parts were made separately, individually for each exhibit, such parts could be about 2 thousand. The success was the painstaking work of each team member.
In addition to the miniature park, there are two more wonderful areas for young visitors on the territory: a multi-park and a mini-zoo with small animals that you can even play with.
