We turn to the practical part of solving the question of how to create a monkey from satin ribbons. Let's create separately blanks for each part of the monkey’s body, it should turn out: two tummies of brown and pink color, tail, head, 2 arms, 2 hands, 2 legs, 2 feet, 2 ears, 3 parts of the muzzle. Thanks to these blanks, a ribbon monkey will soon be created.
Go to the next step. To create legs and pens, you need to prepare a brown tape. Its dimensions: width - 6 cm, length - 35 cm. We assemble the tape into an accordion and tighten it to a size of 4 cm. You will get one leg or one handle, there are three more such pieces of the same size. The bottom of the pink color is attached to the resulting blanks. For its manufacture, a tape is taken - 6 cm wide, 13 cm long. We tighten it with an accordion to get a workpiece of 1.5 cm in size.

Dimensions for the base: head diameter - 3 cm; the height of the pear-shaped body is 4 cm, the width of the lower semicircular part is 3 cm. The length of the legs and arms is 4 cm. All details are prepared, we are assembling the New Year's souvenir. You must have two identical felt blanks. On the first part we fix the legs and tail, after attaching the finished tapes to them. We apply a thin adhesive material on their base and fasten the brown ribbons, and pink ones for the foot. Then we connect exactly two bases, apply carefully so that their edges coincide. On the side that will serve as the front, we fix ready-made handles. They can be attached in various ways, for example, so that they hang down below or stick out to the sides, calling for a hug. Glue round ears to the felt head. For the tummy, we twist the accordion tape of a pink color with a spiral, apply glue to the felt in the center of the body and apply the pink part. Around the resulting pink area we fasten the brown ribbon.
The execution of the muzzle must be taken responsibly, because this is a face, it should turn out to be pretty. We attach the pink part of the muzzle in the center of the head and attach only the upper part to the felt, and leave the lower part free. Around the pink petal we fix the brown accordion. To the free side of the pink muzzle we attach a double red petal and fix it so that we get a mouth. From the outside of the red petal we apply and gently glue the brown petal. Mouth ready.
