One of the
intermediate stations of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the Moscow metro is the Tushino metro station, which is located in the north-west of Moscow. The station was opened at the Oktyabrskoye Pole - Planernaya section at the end of 1975.
Section 1. Metro Tushino. Location
This station received its name in honor of the district, which bore the same name until 1991. After, by decision of the Moscow administration, it was divided and became part of three other districts. Note that the original historical part of Tushinsky has now become part of the Pokrovskoye-Stershnevo district.
Tushino metro station is located in this area. By the way, such an abbreviated form in the name "Tushinskaya" has not yet been officially adopted. It’s even strange, because the proposal was submitted to the relevant authorities at the very beginning of the 90s. Twentieth century, however, until today has not yet been considered.
Section 2. Metro "Tushino". Decor
The design of the station was developed by architects I. Petukhova and V. Kachurinets. Tunnels and halls are located at a depth of 10.5 m. The frame of the room is made up of prefabricated structures.
The walls at this station are decorated with light shade marble. Black granite is used for facing the plinth . The walls are decorated with glass crystal ornaments. Two rows of columns lined with blue-gray marble support a three-span vault. On the floor are granite slabs of gray and brown colors.
Technological doors are decorated with aluminum panels. They feature images of gliders, helicopters, fighters and long-range aircraft.
Section 3. Metro "Tushino". Interesting details
The station has 2 underground lobby. If you walk along the southern lobby, you can go to Tushinskaya street, Stratonavtov passage and Volokolamsk highway. The northern lobby connects to the underpass and allows you to go to the Tushino platform, located on the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway. This station is very congested. Her services are used by residents of Krasnogorsk and the Kurkino area. Residents of Zelenograd and Khimki can also reach this station.
"Tushino" (Moscow) - the metro, next to which is a wonderful corner of the Russian capital. Here is a wonderful park (estate Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo). This area has a developed infrastructure. A large number of kindergartens, schools, cafes and restaurants, shops where you can buy products and industrial goods, a treatment center, pharmacies and dental clinics, animal clinic - all these institutions are also located nearby.

It should be noted that the station is mentioned in the work of the Metro by Dmitry Safonov. A film of the same name was created based on this book. Filming took place at the Tushinskaya station. It was presented as a non-existent station on the Ring Line.
