Traveling by intercity bus is one of the most affordable ways to get around, and itβs also convenient. If you decide to take a trip through the territory of Belarus, and the path will run through the capital of this state, information about where Minsk bus stations are located will be very useful.
East Bus Station
The location of the bus station is the south-eastern part of the city. The decision to build arose as a result of the fact that the Central Bus Station of Minsk could not cope with the huge passenger flow in the 70s. To implement the project, a site was allocated at the intersection of Rokossovsky Avenue with Vaneeva Street. In 1983, the bus station was commissioned. There are hotel rooms and a catering point.
Schedule:
- from Monday to Friday starts to function at 5:20 and ends at 1:30;
- on weekends it works from 5:20, closes at 23:30.
It is located at: st. Vaneeva, 34.
Buses depart daily from the bus station on various routes:
- 8 - international traffic;
- 114 - intercity.
To get here, you need to go by public transport to the stop "Bus Station Vostochny". The following routes go in this direction:
- trolley buses No. 49, 41, 41d, 36, 30, 30n, 15, 19;
- buses: No. 55, 2, 118; 93 and 84.
Central bus station
This is the largest bus station in Minsk. It is located in the city center, next to the railway station.
Its discovery took place in 1962. In the summer of 2007, the bus station was closed for reconstruction. The old building was dismantled, and a new bus station was built in its place. Reconstruction works lasted until 2011.
The complex structure includes:
- Technical premises and left-luggage offices. They are located in the basement level.
- Ticket offices, as well as a waiting room for passengers are located on the ground floor.
- The Galileo shopping complex occupies the third floor and part of the first. There is a cinema, several bars, a restaurant and a cafe.
- Car parking for up to 500 cars.

The schedule of the bus station is around the clock. Buses depart from here in different directions:
- local transport - 33 flights;
- international routes - 20 destinations;
- intercity transportation - 114 flights.

- Buses: No. 46, 119E, 127, 151E, 78, 300E.

Other bus stations
Central and East are not the only bus stations in Minsk.
There are three more stations serving suburban routes:
- Bus station Slavinsky. Schedule from 6 to 23 hours. Location: st. Slavinsky, 18.
- Bus station Avtozavodskaya. It works daily from 6 to 22 hours. Located at 148 Partizansky Ave.
- Bus station Southwest. From here, buses leave for the suburbs located south and southwest from the capital. The bus station is open from 5:45 to 22:00. Location: st. Railway, 41 building 1.
