All stations on the Circle Line, built in Stalin's time, were designed in a specific theme related to the life of the Soviet people. For example, Serpukhovskaya was dedicated to the greatness of Russian architecture, and Belorusskaya was dedicated to the people of the Belarusian Republic, as was Krasnopresnenskaya to the revolutions of 1905-1917.

It should be noted that such lines resembling a ring do not exist in any subway of the former Soviet Union. Once again, Moscow surprises us. Metro Krasnopresnenskaya is another confirmation of this. Why? The fact is that today it connects almost all the metro lines of the capital (with the exception of Butovo and Kakhovskaya) and many railway stations.

For the decoration of the columns of the station was used marble, which is almost 300 million years old. In it you can see the fossilized traces of the oldest organisms that lived on earth in the distant past.

Near the entrance to the subway is the world-famous Moscow Zoo. The subway opens from 5.35 a.m. and runs until 1 a.m.
