Name Origin

The name of Sadovo-Kudrinskaya in Moscow is double:

  • The first part indicates involvement in the Garden Ring.
  • The second part speaks of the beginning on Kudrinskaya Square. The latter received its name by the name of the village of Kudrino, as well as by the Kudrina settlement (Patriarchy, it was run by the Novinsky monastery). Once these historical sites were in place of the modern square.
