Is Allen Dulles’s plan terrible for Russia?

The socialist state, created after the October Revolution of 1917 on the site of the Russian Empire, according to the plan of its founders, should not have clearly defined and fixed geographical borders.

Allen Dulles Plan

The ideas of communism should be extended to larger spaces, and in the long term to the whole planet. The Leninist leadership did not make a secret from its venture. Propaganda brochures, posters, speeches by Bolshevik leaders and even works of art called for a struggle with the exploiters in all countries, and even on Mars (as in the fantastic novel "Aelita" by the writer A. N. Tolstoy). And if necessary, the Red Army can help foreign workers by bringing freedom on their bayonets.

As a result of World War II , events occurred that changed the political map of the planet. A significant part of Europe, many countries of Asia and Africa proclaimed a course towards building socialism. There was a real threat to the world order traditionally based on market relations.

Allen Dulles Russia Plan

It was not necessary to expect that the world of capitalism would stare blankly at the communist expansion. Despite a certain inertia in the provision of technical and material assistance to the state, which proclaimed its goal to destroy the system hostile to it, in the postwar years, the US leadership began to take certain steps to counter the Soviet threat.

Realizing that achieving victory by military methods, even in case of success, would be too expensive, the leaders of Western countries and the heads of intelligence services relied on the ideological front.

The term "Allen Dulles' plan" appeared already in the post-Stalin years. The first mention of this insidious plan is found in the novel by A. Ivanov “The Eternal Call” and its adaptation (1980). The main points of this document are voiced by Kontrik Lakhnovsky, a former royal satrap and collaborator. According to him, only by corrupting the population of the USSR, having clogged his head with all sorts of nonsense, jazz, sex and turning away from true values, can Russia be conquered.

Russia destruction plan Allen Dulles

Why did Allen Dulles's plan get the name of the head of the Strategic Services Office and the creator of the CIA? Here is the merit of another writer, Julian Semenov, who created an expressive image of this character in the novel “17 Moments of Spring”. Somewhat floridly, but accessible, the American spy, puffing his pipe, sets forth the idea of corrupting Soviet society to a certain cardinal.

Did Allen Dulles actually have a plan, or is it a figment of the imagination of Soviet writers? Of all the declassified documents of the Cold War, the text of resolution No. 20/1 of the US Security Council of August 18, 1948 is closest to it. True, he is more connected with the name of James Forrestal, who became famous for throwing himself out of the window of his office in the Pentagon with a cry: “Russians are coming!”

But Petrush Verkhovensky from “Demons” by F. M. Dostoevsky almost literally reproduces the plan for the destruction of Russia Allen Dulles. To achieve universal brotherhood, he proposes to crush the foundations of autocracy "by drunkenness, gossip, denunciations and unheard of debauchery", turning a person into "selfish scum." Is this what the ideological descendants of the great writer’s characters have been doing for decades?

Allen Dulles Plan

The "corrupting influence of the West" in the form of youth movements of pacifists and hippies, the corrupting effect of rock and roll, became a headache not only for Soviet ideologists. If Allen Dulles had a plan for the USSR, then he first began to operate in the United States. According to American conservatives, new-fashioned trends corrupted the young generation, devastating souls, ruining traditional democratic and Christian ideas about values.

It remains unclear what relation to the collapse of the USSR Allen Dulles had. Most likely, American intelligence developed a plan for Russia, and not even one. The country is too large, inconvenient for the West and does not fit into the formats established by it. For the United States and Europe it would be much nicer if in the place of a single state capable of defending itself, there would be a group of principalities constantly engaged in internecine conflicts.

Will the scenario so desired for some foreign leaders be realized? Whatever cunning plans they make, it depends mainly on the citizens of Russia.
